After finding out that you had a boyfriend, your parents had instantly demanded that they meet him. That was why, at present, your boyfriend, Marty was at your house for dinner, whilst your parents bombarded him with questions.

"Do you get good grades at school, Marty? Do you study hard? I hope you plan on going to a good university, so you can support (Y/N) and your family when you're older."
Marty's eyes widened and you blushed deeply. "Oh, I- erm..." he stammered. "I do well at school... I guess. I'm very good at music. I'm really good at playing the guitar."
Your parents looked at him sceptically. "That won't support a family, will it?"
You blushed even deeper and saw Marty panicking. You squeezed his hand under the table and gave him a reassuring smile.
