It was well known that Ace Merrill had it bad for you and it was equally well known that Chris had a massive school-boy crush on you. You were about to enter the corner store, when you heard a voice call after you, followed by yelling. You turned around to see Ace pinning Chris to the floor.

"Ace, what the hell are you doing?"
"Chambers, here, thinks you like him. But you're my girl, right?"
"She isn't yours," protested Chris, trying to avoid Ace's cigarette, pressed dangerously close to his face. "You don't own her."
"You're mine, aren't you, love?"
"What are you talking about? Get the hell off him, Ace."
"Alright. I'll let him go on one condition. Who do you like, (Y/N)? Me or him. Pick."
