It was the party of a boy from your school and you, Cher and Josh had been invited. Josh quickly rejected his invitation, but soon changed his mind upon some new information.

"You know, (Y/N)," Cher said with a knowing smile, "I heard Danny's going to ask you out at the party. I'm totally sure he's going to kiss you."
"Do you really think - "
"Actually," Josh interrupted, "Maybe I should go to the party."
"I thought parties were a dumb excuse for high school students to get drunk and feel good about themselves," you replied with a smirk.
"Did I say that? I love parties! I don't know what you're talking about. I just don't like the thought of some random guy kissing you."
Cher pulled you to the door and whispered in your ear, "Unless that guy's Josh, in which case, he's all for kissing you."
