Drunk (Kurt tho)

Kurt groaned. He couldn't even remember how he got where he was. All he knew is that it was loud, and someone had offered him a pink drink he had like five of.

Then he noticed there were blue ones and purple ones. Blaine had told him he'd be designated driver this time around because he'd already had his fill for a year counting on last time.

It was weird because he started off with a plain alcohol free Shirley Temple, and then each drink was darker than the last. He was never one for drinking until then, and maybe he had a lot more than he should've on his first night.

Suddenly, Blaine was no where to be seen. Kurt basically panicked for a moment then, and screamed out his name. No one but Blaine himself actually heard it over the music. It turns out, he was right behind Kurt, helping him stand up straight.

"I'm behind you, remember, Kurtie?"

The taller boy spun around, miraculously not face planting, and kissed him without warning. They both nearly fell over, and after Kurt let up, he was faced with his very confused boyfriend.

"W-what was that for, bab-"

"Don't leave me like that again! I could..." He stopped to catch his breath, and then stuttered trying to remember what he was originally gonna say. "C-could've called the police to get you!"

"I haven't and I won't go anywhere, babe."

Then Kurt kept kissing him on his face, on his neck, and on his hands.

"Kurt, slow down... you do realize we're in public right?"

"Yeah- But like... I have to give you enough kisses for a lifetime in c-case you go missing again..."

Kurt was an interesting drunk, that was for sure. Blaine had never seen him intoxicated before, and he was sure Kurt had no idea what he was doing. He figured Kurt would have the worst hangover mainly because his blood to alcohol ratio was no where near where it should normally be.

At one point, they were in this hugging/dancing position where Blaine kept his hands on Kurt's waist to keep him from falling, and Kurt's arms resting on Blaine's shoulders.

"You okay, Kurt?" Blaine asked after a minute.

Kurt almost forgot to respond. He had to pull back and stare into Blaine's eyes for a moment to remember what he'd said.

"Yeah... yes. I think."

He had this goofy drunken smile whenever he looked at Blaine.

"Okay, do you think you're ready to go home?"

Kurt though for a moment. Blaine was going to rephrase his question after a minute because it looked like Kurt was going to hurt himself from thinking too hard.

"Two..." He replied.

"Two what?"

"M-minutes. I have to go say goodbye to Blaine."

That's about when Blaine knew Kurt wasn't going to remember anything.

"Kurt, I'm Blaine." He noticed Kurt was half listening and took that as his cue for them to leave. "I'm going to take you home, okay?"

"I thought you said you were Blaine..."

*********

Of course, Kurt refused to ride in the back seat alone. Blaine must've told him four times that he had to drive, and that meant he couldn't hold him. He caved when Kurt looked like he was going to cry.

"If you ride in the front seat, you can hold my hand, but anything more and we could get hurt. I just wanna keep you safe, okay?"

Kurt nodded, eagerly jumping to the passenger seat. Blaine joined him a moment later to put his seat belt on because Kurt clearly was not thinking about what he just said.

"Seat belts!" Kurt exclaimed. "So we can be safe!"

Or maybe he was... Blaine wasn't sure how Kurt remembered the stupid line from Dora the Dumbass Explorer, but he didn't really want to anyway.

The drive was quiet until Kurt was staring at their intertwined hands so intently, Blaine thought he might drill a hole.

"Is this real...?" Kurt finally asked. "Like... I-is us... real? Or am I dreaming again?"

Blaine tried not to laugh. "It's real, Kurtie."

"So I can say I love you, then?"

"Yes, you can."

"I love you, Blainey." Kurt said, and smiled. "A lot. A-lot, a-lot. Like a lot."

Blaine grinned. They got to their house and Kurt just about fell right out of the car. When Blaine helped him up, he noticed Kurt kept his hand over his mouth.

"Are you sick?" Blaine asked.

Kurt swallowed hard and was silent for a minute. Then he shook his head no.

"I-I'm okay."

Blaine was amazed at Kurt's ability to hold his liquor. He knew he would've thrown up hours ago. Blaine helped Kurt inside, and shut the door behind him.

"Hey... Blaine..." Kurt whispered. "We should totally, like, get married."

"Get married?" Blaine laughed. "When?"

"Right now! Like now, now!"

"Maybe we should wait till your sober enough to stand for the wedding vows."

Kurt pouted for a minute before flopping on the couch and making grabby hands for the remote. Blaine was right next to him in seconds. He didn't give Kurt the remote, though.

"What do you wanna watch?" Blaine asked, knowing Kurt wouldn't be able to put anything on by himself.

"I wanna watch... Moulin Rouge!!"

"Okay, calm down, we will."

"I love you, Blainey. A lot."

"I love you, too, Kurt."

Kurt fell asleep in literally two minutes, and Blaine kissed his forehead before getting blankets and falling asleep with him.

********

The morning came, and Kurt immediately ran to throw up in the bathroom. Clearly, Blaine's earlier hunch was wrong. The gelled boy rubbed circles on his boyfriends back until he was done, and seemingly drained of his energy.

"What happened...?" The taller boy asked, wobbling back to their couch.

"You got wasted for the first time." Blaine chuckled. "You're a happy drunk, you know that?"

"N-no..."

"Do you wanna eat something?" Blaine asked.

"God, no." Kurt replied. "It's just gonna come right back up."

He held out his hands, wanting to cuddle with Blaine. He quickly got his wish.

"Kurt, you said you wanted to marry me last night." Blaine grinned.

"Well, I do. You know that."

"No, you wanted to get married last night. As in right then and there." Blaine laughed. "You were so adorable. I wish I'd gotten a video."

Kurt put his hands over his eyes, already knowing this would be the worst headache of his life.

"I love you, Blaine." He said between wincing. "I can bet I wasn't easy to handle."

"You weren't too bad, actually. You kept saying you loved me over and over again."

"Sounds like me." Kurt chuckled.
