After Break Up

So Blaine and Kirt haven't seen each other since the break up where they sang "Don't Speak"

"Hey! So when will Kurt be here?" Rachel asks.

Mercedes shrugs. Eyes are drawn to Blaine's reaction. "Kurt's gonna be here?! Why didn't you tell me?! I gotta go-"

Blaine gets up from the table they were sitting at."No!" Rachel frowned. "I thought you guys were still friends!"

"It's really... It's complicated. I can't deal with that right now. Especially since I invited Karovsky..."

"Why would you do that? Like, ever? Are you trying to make him even more upset cause that is low." Mercedes chimes in.

"No, that's not... Well..." Blaine was deep in thought as Mercedes might've just answered the question he'd been asking himself for months. "Well, I couldn't not invite him. He's my boyfriend and-"

"Your BOYFRIEND?!" Rachel and Mercedes scream.

"Well, he helped me after the-"

"Oh hell no. This is bullshit! Kurt can't see him! He'll die!"

"That's why I have to leave!"

"Blaine, what is wrong with you? Kurt is never going to be your friend or even your acquaintance after this." Rachel says.

Blaine leaves the table, avoiding Rachel and Mercedes' dirty looks. He glances back for a second as he approaches the door and bumps into a certain someone.

There is a silence. Both boys eyes widen. Blaine's mouth hung open while Kurt turned pale. Finally, he broke the silence.

"Hi, Blaine!"

Blaine was speechless. He was frozen. He could see Karovsky behind him, and ran before things could go any worse. Kurt spotted Mercedes and Rachel and sat down with them.

"Um... So what was he doing here...?" Kurt asks as his voice cracks.

"Shit... Umm... So we thought you guys were friends but then Karovsky-" Rachel starts.

"Rachel, shut up!" Mercedes says in a crooked smile.

There is another very uncomfortable silence before Kurt sighs. "So much for a "fun time.""
