CHAPTER 35: END OF SOLITUDE (PART 2)

THIRD PERSON'S POV

“What do you mean Simon's missing?”

The moment Jade arrive at school Bryce immediately told her what happen and explained everything from the start. She covered her mouth in surpise and went completely speechless for a moment.

“I felt bad for his younger sister” he added.

“How was she?” Jade asked.

“Katie never talked to me again. She was propably all night worried about her brother and felt sad about what happen.

“But we can't blame Simon” Jade replied and pulled out her chair then placing her bag before sitting beside him. “They were both close that's why seeing his friend got killed infront of him made his mind crazy. It won't be easy to move on since it also give him trauma”

“Something like that can't be easily forgotten in his memories” Bryce added where Jade agreed to it.

“Out of coverage area palagi ang nakukuha ko.

“I'm worried” Jade commented.

He unconciously smiled before averting his gaze and leaned his elbow while covering his mouth.

“I understand, goodbye” she said in a formal tone where it piqued his curiousity.

But Bryce refrained himself in questioning her about it. He thinks it might be too personal and one thing he thought was her parents that's why its formal.

“Jade” he called her name.

“Hmm?”

“Can I ask you something?” Bryce asked.

“Go ahead”

“It might be too personal”

“Just go straight to the point Bryce” she replied while maintaining her gaze outside the window's car.
