A lump in my throat builds and decays
as I let you go
I feel not whole when all you ever do
Is make me feel whole
It's funny when I could really easily simply love you
because I think other girls have hurt you
I feel like it hurts me every time I say goodbye
And I feel like washing myself away when I cry
I ruined everything opening my big fat mouth
because I can't see you as a friend
because we know that that has gone way down south
I feel as an idiot for telling the truth
Because somehow I think I've lost you
It's going to be funny seeing you with some other chick
Wishing that could've been me
I feel as though maybe I'm just supposed to be rich
I will never forget how I feel
How when you're around me it's so surreal
the only way I could start hating you
is if I stopped loving you
But I feel as though that can't be true
Because I feel like I can't stop loving you
