"What's going on in that pretty little mind of yours?! " Xavier tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and looked at me for few seconds before turning his gaze back on road.
"What if you guys hadn't found me on time " I mumble biting my lips.
"Don't think about that incident. " He held my hand in his , " You are safe and sound now "
When we entered my home , all the heads snapped in our direction.
"I umm - I should shower first " I stated strolling towards the stairs.
I entered the shower and stripped all my clothes. I looked at my face in mirror my eyes were red swollen with mascara stains around my eyes, nose red like tomato and forehead bandaged.
I let hot water run through my body. I kept replaying the incidents which happened to me earlier. A lone tear escaped my eyes. I take in deep breath and burst out crying. I might show I'm strong in front of others but deep down I was high-flown , I was disturbed mentally.
I scrub my cheek till it's blotched red. I slumped down on the floor and cried my heart out.
After taking shower, I wore my PJ's and wrapped a towel around my head covering my wet hairs.
When I stepped out of washroom I saw everyone at my room. Jason was perched on bean bag with his head lazily thrown backwards. Damon, xavier, katniss and norah were sitting on my bed.
" Mom and dad are coming tomorrow" Jason spoke after a minute of silence.
"Hmm... You told them? "
"Mm - hmm "
"Come here, Your hair is still wet. You will get headache if you won't dry it " Xavier said gesturing me to come to him.
I unwrapped towel from my hair and slowly strolled towards him , I didn't know what to speak to anyone. Everyone were keenly observing all my actions.
"Okay guys this is awkward like of awkward... We can't just sit here without cracking some shitty jokes on each other. Sky is fine now and you all need to get out of this mourning mood cause no one's dead" Katniss rolled her eyes.
"And that's why I love you " I stated winking at her. I don't want to think about that petrifying incident anymore. What's done is done!
Xavier coughed gaining my attention. I tilt my head backwards to see Xavier was holding a towel in his hand.
Aww can he be more sweet?
One quality I like about Xavier. If he cares about someone he does it in open. He doesn't treat me differently when norah is around. Irrespective of her presence his love and care towards me is always constant.
" Let's play a quick truth or dare " Katniss chirped rubbing her palms.
"I'm totally up for any dare " Damon smirked laying his head on norah's lap. Okay ! Someone's getting all cosy..
