"SAAN KA PUPUNTA?" matigas na wika ng ama ni Xhyraine nang makilala siya nitong pababa ng grand staircase.

She closed her eyes tightly and bit her lower lip. Geez. Bakit nasa ibaba pa rin ang kaniyang daddy? It's already late. He should be taking his nap.

"Xhyraine Zoe Dela Vega..."

"I have a meeting, daddy," she replied. She held her head high as she walked near her dad. Tunog ng kaniyang stilettos ang maririnig sa buong solar ng mansiyon.

"Are you making fun of me?" Masama ang tingin na iginawad ng kaniyang ama sa kaniya.

"No," she answered innocently. Ugh! Why is he really there? She thought the solar's already empty.

"Saan ka pupunta?" istriktong tanong ulit ng ama.

"Daddy, I told you I have a meeting."

"Alam mo ba kung ano'ng oras na?"

She glanced at her wristwatch. "It's 10:30 PM, daddy."

Nagpupuyos sa galit na tumayo ang ama saka siya nilapitan. "Go back to your room and sleep."

Her mouth hang open. Bakit parang kung utusan siya ng ama ay para siyang bata? Hell! She's already twenty four! His dad was making her like a three-year-old baby girl!

"Daddy, kung ikaw kaya ang umakyat na because, look, oh! It's getting late! Baka Mommy's waiting for you inside your room."

"Sumabay ka na sa'kin sa pag-akyat," mariing utos nito.

"But I have a meeting-"

"With whom, Xhyraine? With whom?" Tumaas ang boses ng kaniyang ama.

She suddenly felt afraid because she knew how scary her daddy was when angry. But she needed to escape from his anger. She promised to her cousin that she will be attending their night out with their friends.

"It's about my photoshoot for tomorrow..." She's starting to get uneasy with her dad's glare.

Her father snorted while raising his brow. Tinitigan niya ang itsura nito. Kahit na may katandaan na ang itsura ay hindi pa rin mawawala ang nakakatakot nitong aura. He's very intimidating. Her dad is a strict person. In all aspects, actually. Business, household, personal life, and even her own love life. Wala itong pinalampas.

She rolled her eyes. That is why I am labeled as a NBSB Princess. It's so nakakahiya man na aminin, but that's the truth. Pakiramdam niya tuloy ay hindi siya maganda kahit na halos buong mundo na ang sumamba sa kaniyang kagandahan.

"Tell to your manager to transfer you to other agency," masungit na wika ng kaniyang ama. "hindi ako natutuwa sa mga pang-gabing business meetings."

"Daddy..." She forced herself to clung on her dad's arm. "You know how busy our world is. If this is the only time available for us, we should always grab it. It's so hard to find a free time!"

"Fine! Fine!" Huminga nang malalim ang kaniyang ama. "Basta magsama ka ng mga body guards mo. Umuwi ka before midnight. Do you hear me, Xhyraine Zoe?"

Ngumiwi siya saka tumango. "Of course! I will. Thank you!"

She didn't wait for his response. She hurriedly went outside the mansion and take her Benz out from the garage. She drove it smoothly and not minding the two black cars tailing her from behind.
