Chapter 16-Ruined Surprise

"Cassie this still doesn't feel right" Jon said

"Well then, think of it as revenge" Cassie said

"Why" Jon questioned

"The amount of times he's spied or placed trackers on us without asking" Cassie replied with duh expression

"There he's stopping" Jon pointed

"And that Raven, why is he hugging Raven" Cassie said

"He doesn't hug anyone in public not even me" Jon said getting upset

"I'm sure it's nothing" Cassie said

"What's that stuff" Jon asked

"Equipment Tim lent me so I could listen in on the conversation you can use your superhearing" Cassie said

They both sat on roof opposite the the park where Damian and Raven were sitting

"Rae I can't thank you enough I love doing this with you, you've been such a great help" Damian said

"No problem Boy Wonder, does he know yet have you told him or anyone" Raven asked

"No not yet I'm waiting it out" Damian said

"I don't think that's a good idea" Raven said

"Why not" Damian asked

"Because I know from being with you, when you start keeping secrets it drives a wedge in the relationship" Raven answered

"Well he might find out sooner seeing as him and Wonder Girl are sitting on that roof behind us listening in" Damian said turning and looking at the roof

Jon flew back to Metropolis crying while Cassie flew down to Damian

"Hey Rae, Dami" Cassie said

"He wouldn't have come here alone why would you bring him" Damian asked

"I'm going to go" Raven said walking through a portal

"Dami, are you cheating on him with your ex" Cassie asked

"No of course not, why does he think that" Damian asked

"Well seen as he started crying and flew away and told me to give you this I would think so" Cassie said handing Damian the promise ring

"Why would he think that, I'm just trying to get an anniversary gift ready, for 3 years and 1 month together" Damian said

"Dami that was two days ago that's why Jon gave you your ring" Cassie said

"It's a late gift I was going to give him tomorrow after school" Damian said

"You have two options here try fix it now or wait till tomorrow" Cassie said

"Get in the car we're going" Damian said

Both teens got in the car and Damian sped off down the road towards Metropolis.

Jon flew in through his window in the hopes his parents wouldn't see or hear him crying he got into his bed and covered his face with the duvet, he felt as if Damian had just ripped his heart out had him watch as he cut it up and stick it back in his chest.

"Lois I think Jon's crying" Clark said from downstairs

"He's home?" Lois said

"Yeah and I'm guessing it's about Damian he's not wearing the ring" Clark said
