FLASHBACK...
Lauren had always been a clean child, She liked clean and organised belongings. She would always put her toys away in the exact way she took them out when she was done playing, her bedroom was always clean and organised and Clara and Mike never questioned it they just appreciated the fact there young child cleaned up after herself.
When Lauren grew up her 'obsession' to organise things, do things repeatedly and become distressed when they weren't 'just right' became more noticeable but nobody around her had any concerns or saw an issue with a 'clean teenager'. there was multiply occasion when Lauren or her parents heard the statements.
'you must love having a teenager without a messy room'
'are you obsessed with cleaning or something'
'why cant i move that ?'
'just leave it for now'
'isn't she nice cleaning up for you'
For years nobody could find an issue with what Lauren was doing until Ale noticed some unusual things Lauren was doing. The families would often spend time together and Ale would see Lauren often but more recently Lauren had been attending the Cabello household to 'study', Ale knew they weren't studying but he kept it to himself and hoped the girls would come to him in there own time.
Today Sinu was out at work and the girls school had been closed for a deep clean so it was just the three of them at the Cabello residence. Ale instantly started to see things Lauren did and from completing a psychology degree he had his suspicions about why she was doing it.
The first thing he picked up on was she could only entre through doors with her right foot first and exit through doors with her left foot first. He then notices rituals she had to do before she could complete task that he had seen her do before but dismissed it, she couldn't eat food without the thing on her plate being in a certain order or position, she couldn't start homework without lining up and ordering everything she was going to need to complete it and she couldn't sit down without tapping on the seat twice with each index finger on each hand.
Once Ale had notice the first few signs he couldn't stop seeing them, he had began to notice just how well Lauren could hide the small signs. she would more often that not complete these tasks and rituals so quickly nobody would notice.
The thing that confirmed it for Ale was Laurens use of phrases Psychologist looked out for when diagnosing OCD and Anxiety disorder.
The two girls sat at the table in the kitchen completing homework, Ale sat at the head of the table completing his own work for the day. Every so often he would notice Lauren erase her words or completely get rid of the paper in the trash, Lauren must of trashed her homework four times before Ale had to speak up.
"Why do you keep putting your work in the trash ?" He asked looking over the top of his glasses at the younger girl. Camila seemed uninterested by the conversation between her father and girlfriend.
"Its not right" Lauren frustratedly groaned at the constant mental nagging to redo her work.
"In what sense ? because you keep trashing it and then rewriting the same thing just on a different piece of paper"
"My writing keeps going above the line and my O's aren't correct" Ale didnt question the girl anymore and allowed her to complete her homework in peace. Camila finished her homework and went to watch TV and wait for Lauren, Lauren finally finished her homework and placed it in a neat folder before packing her pencil case back up in the order she got it out in.
