He glared at me for a minute. I was shutting my eyes and biting my lower lip because of pain.

Finally, he let go of me. I sighed in relief.

"Test? What do you mean by test? And how come she failed?"

"I- I don't know...... Maybe you can ask his ass out yourself. "
I tried to joke around and forced myself to laugh.

*bang!

I'll never do that again. Promise.

"Ms. Kim is still downstairs. Call her for help."
He simply said and walked towards the stairs.

"Yah- P-Please call her for me... Jebal..."
I can't even lift my own feet right now and i am already bathing kn my own blood.

He walked away without looking back at me.

Haerin's

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling straight dizziness on my head. My vision is blurry and i can't see properly.

My eyes adjusted on the light as i rub them gently.

Huh?

This room.... Look so familiar.

"You're awake. "

My eyebrows immediately went to an arc the moment i heard Jake walking inside the room.

"Why am i here?"

"Can't you remember anything?"
he asked me, putting the tray of a warm soup on the bedside table. I just looked at him, feeling a bit clueless as to what he's saying.

Wait a second..

"Did i just- passed out?"
I covered my mouth with my hand and looked at jake.

"yeah. you surely exhaust yourself that much."
He snickered. I scoffed.

"then why am i here?"
I took away the thick blanket that was covering me, only to see myself on a  different clothes.

I glared at jake. He shrugged his shoulder with a confident smirk.

"I did nothing."
I took the pillow on my sides and threw it to his direction.

"You pervert!!"

"Yah-! Stop it! I told you- Yah! Stop throwing me my pillows i wasn't the one who changed your clothes."

"Then who? Layla? You don't have anyone here other than yourself Mr. Shim. You perverted jerk!!"

"It seems like we're having fun here already... Mind if i join you for a minute?"
The door opened, revealing a female doctor from outside.

"There's no fun here. Ms. Kim . She's pissing me off."
The doctor named Ms. Kim looked at me and chuckled with jake's remarks.

"If you're wondering who changed your clothes, It's me."
She smiled at me. 

i nodded my head and suspiciously looked at jake.

"i see..."

"what are yo doing here anyways? Aren't you treating Sunghoon?"

"Sunghoon's dead already. too bad for him."

Jake's eyebrows arched.

"He died?"

"I'm kidding. I'm already done treating him. Do not worry."

"I ain't worrying. I was just about to call the funeral parlor i contacted for his death actually."

he ain't joking. isn't he?

"I'm here to check Ms. Cha's temperature. Ms. Cha say ahhhh.."
She stick the thermometer in front of my mouth, I obeyed her nonchalantly. jake looked at me and chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay... She has slight fever. You should take good care of her, Jake."

"I will, Ms. Kim."

he will? What does that mean?

"I'll get going now. I'll take Sunghoon with me to treat him furthermore on the clinic. I'll come back tomorrow." Ms. Kim looked at me. "Stay here until tomorrow Ms. Cha."
She leaned towards my direction and whispered something on my ears.

"Do not do anything naughty at least for tonight, Ms. Cha. Refuse everything. arraseo?"

anything naughty? What does that supposed to mean?

Wait-

I looked at Jake. He just glanced back and smirked at me.
