Third x phase x begins

I wake up and do my daily routine. I then head to the dining room and sit next to Killua

Azuki:*yawn*so, are we there yet?

Killua: not yet, but I think we'll be arriving soon

After about 15 minutes we arrive on this giant tower and a little green man is seen who I assume is the instructor for this phase

little green man: hello everyone, I'm beans the chairman's secretary. This will be the location of the third phase, you have 72 hours to complete this phase. Your aim is to reach the bottom before the time is up, good luck

Gon: well this should be easy for Azuki

Azuki: yeah but where's the fun in that? I don't want this to be too boring

Another smug faced idiot: with that kind of mindset you'll never pass

Azuki: excuse me?

Another smug faced idiot: I will be the first person to get from up here to down there safely. Since I'm a professional climber something like this is a piece of cake. I'll just put my foot here in my hand there and then look I'm already going down

Azuki: yeaaaah he's gonna die

Soon after the man is carried away by a giant f*cking bird

Azuki: oh look I'm clairvoyant

Kurapika: hey don't you think the number of people have decreased?

Azuki: I dunno, I don't really pay attention to the other people. If they end up failing then that's their fault not mine

Gon: or, maybe they all found secret passages and left through them

Killua: all right let's split up and look for some secret passages then

After a bit of searching we all end up finding some secret passages

Azuki: well that was easy. Let's hurry up and go in, I wanna see what's down there

we all end up going through the secret passages and end up in the same place

Gon: yay! We ended up together

Azuki: meh, I would've been better off on my own

Killua: oh c'mon Azuki, you can't always do everything by yourself

Suddenly Beans starts talking to us over the intercom

Beans: you five have chosen the majority rules path. Which means you all have to vote on whether to do something or not, now please take the watches over there and wear them

We take the watches

Leorio: wait a minute there's still one more watch

Beans: oh yes, this path requires six members. That means none of you can proceed until a sixth member appears

Kurapika: that means.....

Azuki: we're pretty much stuck here until some other idiot decides to come. God I hate my life sometimes

we all end up waiting for about an hour

Leorio: this is hopeless! I've been no one else is on that roof

Approximately nanosecond after he says this someone comes down through the roof and lands on him. I roll my eyes and groan at the realization of who this is

Azuki: God is punishing me

Leorio: hey! Look where you're landing-........Tonpa I'm gonna kill you!

Azuki: please do

Killua: as much as I want to agree with you, if we kill him then we literally will not be able to pass since nobody can go through any tiles that have already been gone through

Azuki: I hate my life!

And with that we all gather our stuff and head to the door. The door has a sign that reads press X if you want to open the door press O you don't. With that in mind we all vote and the result ends up being X=5 O=1. We see that it was Tonpa that voted O and that causes me to pull out my shovel and try to smack him only for Kurapika to stop me

Will you continue on and see a huge floating arena which confuses us for a while until some person on the other side decides to speak up

Masked person: hello. This is the first challenge of your third phase and what you need is four wins. You're all gonna be battling each one of us one-on-one. The match stops when a person admits defeat or is killed. Is that enough?

Azuki: yeah yeah. Let's just get on with the show

Bulky man: okay then, I'm gonna be battling first so please choose someone who will fight me

I start to raise my hand only for great value Cleveland to speak up

Tonpa: I'll do it

I cannot believe what I am hearing, this guy. Welp, we're all screwed. Anyway the two guys go into the arena however the second the battle starts dumbass drops to his knees and surrenders

Tonpa: I give up! I give up! I give up!

He comes back to us smirking, having just about enough of this guy I bonk his head with my shovel

Azuki: hmph, you disgust me. I may have stooped low in my time, but that was just utterly pathetic

Next up a skinny man walks up to the arena

Skinny man: it's my turn

Gon: I wanna go!

Azuki: well, this should interesting

Gon goes on to the arena

Gon: hello!

Skinny man: hi, as you can see I'm not good at fighting so shall we do something else?

Gon: sure, like what?

Skinny man: let's light up some candles and see which one will last longer

Gon: ok!

The man takes out two candles

Skinny man: take your pick. You have all the time in the world

Gon thinks for a second before turning to us

Gon: which one should I take?

Leorio: take the long one! But wait, what if it has a trick?

Kurapika: yeah he might want us to think that the long one is better but actually it has a trick

Killua: but what if he wants us to think that the long one has a trick and then we choose the short one but then it turns out the trick is actually in the short one

Azuki: ugh you over analytics are making my brain hurt! Look, most likely no matter what candle we choose it will have a trick, so I'd say just leave it up to Gon

Skinny man: all right then I choose the long one. It will take longer to melt because it's long*laughs*

The man throws another candle to Gon

Skinny man: okay then let's start

They both light the candles and we wait. After a bit Gon's candle blew up and started melting fast causing a bit of a panic among us. Gon starts hopping around due to the heat of the candle

Killua: Gon, stop hopping around so much!

Gon: w-what do you want me to do?

Azuki: for the love of God just use your brain for once. I know it's small in size but please just use it for once

Gon thinks for a moment before realizing what I'm talking about. He puts his candle on the floor and blows out the other guy's candle

Azuki: see, you know what to do

Killua: nice going Gon!

Leorio: our first win!
