"Yes Sir," she nodded, as she joined the others, as they stood.

"Christine? I would like you to stay as well, with Calvin."

"But I have a meeting with ..."

Premier Best cut her off.

"All your meetings have been cancelled."

"I don't understand."

"You will."

"What is this about?" Calvin Parsons asked.

"I want to have a private meeting about our relocation program."

"Then why am I here?"

"Because, Christine, I asked you to."

Premier Best walked to the conference room door.

"Come in gentlemen."

Two men walked into the room.

"I assume you recognize Mr. Norman Lomond, our Chief Legal Council and this is Commander Peter Anderson of the RCMP."

"I don't understand," Christine Young spoke up.

"I thought this was to be a discussion about the relocation program?"

The three men sat down.

"It is," Premier Best assured them.

Norman Lomond opened his briefcase. He put a recording devise on the table.

"I am bound legally to inform you both that I will be recording this session and anything you say here can be used in the event of prosecution."

"What?" Christine and Calvin barked together.

"Do you understand what I have said?"

"Yes," Christine snapped, "but I don't understand what this is about."

"Do you both agree to have this session recorded?"

"Yes," they said in unison.

"My name is Norman Lomond and I am Chief Legal Council for the government of Newfoundland and Labrador. I am in a meeting with Calvin Parsons, Minister of the Environment, Christine Young, Deputy Premier, Daniel Best, Premier and Commander Peter Anderson of the RCMP.

I ask now that all present state their names for the record and agree to the recording of this meeting.

In turn, all agreed.

"First, I will ask both of you for your cellphones."
