A/N:SOOOO I lied again, 3 more updates till we are done because I was gonna kill off Jasper but decided to use him in a beautiful way. And I think we are all tired of sad chapters anyways.

You guys have been asking for our man, so here he is:)

One whole Month.

That's how long Jackson has been looking for his Wife and kids. This time around hurts more because he honestly is not sure whether Hadessa and Natalie were killed or not. Caspian, he knows as a fact that his father wouldn't kill but as for Jackson's wife and daughter, they could be dead. But even if they are dead, he still would like their bodies to bury because that would give him some peace.

For four tormenting weeks Jackson has been handing out fliers, posting on social media, comforting Hadessa's distraught family and trying to survive. The case isn't going as fast as he wants it to. They practically searched all of Mississippi and Delaware and still nothing has come up about Hadessa and the kids.

Every Sunday he goes to different Churches to hand out flyers and ask for prayers from the people. Today he visited a Pentecostal one which he expected the people to be running around and speaking in tongues. Well, he has heard Hadessa praying in tongues but she always did it so gracefully and beautifully to him. But growing up he would hear his family members, friends, literally everyone on Earth, throw shade at Pentecostalism. If it wasn't the Catholics that were being made fun of, it was the Pentecostals, that's how it always went like.

But Jackson has to admit, the Church was quite...normal, maybe people are right when they say don't believe everything you see on TV.

"How are you Brother! Did you enjoy the sermon?"

Jackson opens his mouth to lie but then takes one look at the Pastor's eyes and knows he doesn't have to because the man already knows the truth.

"Honestly, no. At the season I'm in right now, the last thing I want to hear is about loving my enemies".

"What's troubling you my friend?"

Jackson hands the flyer to the older man, "my wife and kids were kidnapped last month at our hotel room. On the same day, a guy wearing a balaclava came out of nowhere while I was walking to my car on the way to the store, pulled me behind the building and beat me up. He even split my head open, they had to shave the spot and stitch it up. I think-I know it's my father. I've called him like ten times this since then and he's only picked up three times. He and my brother Hunter are the only family members that never came to see me. And whenever we talk he ends it short with an excuse. He's in the Klan, never wanted me to even allow Hadessa to be my son's doctor. I admit, I also was like my father, but I've changed as a person, I even got saved but right now I feel like God is punishing me".

The Pastor nods in understanding, "My heart goes out to you young man. But do not lose hope!"

Jackson nods, "No I'm gonna find them! No doubt about that. Before I leave this Earth, weather it be 80 years old, I'm going to find them".

"And what about faith?" The Pastor asks as he points to the cross. "Have you lost your faith?"

Jackson takes a deep breath and looks up at the bear wooden cross. The Church isn't Catholic so they don't have those pictures and statues of Jesus that make Hadessa uncomfortable but to him is normal.

"Where is he?"

"He's not there to see with your visible eye, but you still know he's there by spirit don't you?"

He tilts his head thinking about it and then nods, "Yeah, sure, I can agree with that".

The Pastor nods, "So what about this season your in right now? Where is your faith?"
