When the door swung open again, I knew it's already the next day.

After Kean left, I was left alone for so long. Then, a guy came to bring me food and water, only enough to keep me alive. That's when I realize it's dinner time. The only food I got for a whole day. The pattern I already grew accustomed after three repeating days.

They never replied when I try to talk with them.

They only put the food and left, before picking up the tray about an hour later. They didn't seem going to kill me, nor release me. Just make sure I stayed there. For how long?

Kean was nowhere to be seen and I don't think I'll meet him again here.

The man puts a new tray on the table and walks away.

"My hand! I can't eat like this," I said. My hand was tied on my back. He grabbed me and put me down on the chair. He untied my hands, just to still tie the right one on the chair. He only releases one of my hands at this eating hour. Well, at least they didn't bother to tie my body to the chair again. My effort of being obedient and showing no resistance these past days bear a little fruitful effect.

With my left hand free, I grabbed the spoon and start eating. The sound of the door being closed and the clicked lock. I was alone again. The food is just edible. I keep eating even if it tastes bad to gain some strength. I've been doing a little healing to close every wound, but I need food to replace the energy consumption.

Finishing all the food, I put the spoon back and wait silently. I was never given a fork, let alone a knife. With my history of making a pen and paper-knife as a weapon, a plastic spoon is the safest utensils for me. Kean probably told them. Well, not a big problem though.

Again, the room becomes silent. I closed my eyes.

Waiting.

A clicked sound and steps towards me. I open my eyes and see the same man came back. As usual, the door was left hanging. He looked at the empty tray and approach me to tie my hand again.

When our distance shortens, before he could grab my hand, I surprised him with a punch on his chest. A seemingly weak punch that makes almost no noise.

He looked confused at first but suddenly, he coughed blood and fall to his knee. His body was trembling from the sudden shock of internal organs' failure. I didn't wait for too long to stole a knife from his waist and use it to break the tied on my other hand. The knot was thicker on my legs as I need more time to unravel.

Practice makes perfect, but I haven't practice for so long. I shivered when I feel that guy suddenly stood up, with blood on the side of his mouth, looking angry at me. He stormed at me and if I was a little late, my head would have been slammed along with the wall by his bare hand. No, this guy is probably a monster. How can he move with a damaged lung? I know at least I've broken one of his lungs.

With the knife in my hand, I retreat by slashing him, only manage to cut his ear. Bloods burst out from the newform hole on the right of his head but he looks unbothered as he storms at me again. Really? What a cheat to have this much strength. I know dealing with him would only reduce my success rate to escape. Before he could land a hand on me, I quicken my feat, get out, and slam the door on my back.

I know this is an automatically locked door as the interval between the door was closed and the clicked lock sound was always the same. Unfortunately, I didn't expect the next things that come. The guy punched the door. I thought I was saved from having this thick metal to cover me. My back that was on the door was getting punch and my body was thrown to the other side. I thought that was his direct fist by how much my back was hurting.

Looking back I saw the door getting bend forward with an unusual pattern of a fist. The door itself was still intact. Yup, that guy is a monster. Does everyone here like him or he just got appointed to me because of his brute strength? I remember those who brought me here was skillful but not this monstrous.

I try to strengthen up and go back on my foot. We definitely just cause a scene as I hear drapes of ruckus from above. Let's leave before it's too late.

I'm weak against numbers and brute force. And that's what I've been doing for a while.

The endless amount of guards come at me, trying to stop me from escaping. Where the hell Kean put me? Even after I killed many of them, it didn't end. Well, not everyone was skillful, some die too easily. Still...

I'm getting tired and I haven't found the exit. These men before me kept appearing one after the other. As I run through the corridors, forced to kill everyone I encounter, my energy got wasted.

"Enough!" A man stepped forward from the end of the corridor. Along with him, dozens of more people. Unlike the rest, he wore a suit and looked very tidy. "Stop it. That person instructs us to keep you alive."

Yet, he left an injured me to rot.

That well-dressed man looks like their leader. Am I in their base? That would explain the infinite amount of backups. Will they stop these attacks if I kill him? Doubtful, but it's worth trying. I didn't have many options now. These are so really not my style, using brute force to solve problems.

I gave a long sighed, here goes nothing.

I dash towards the man. He stepped back and a few other stepped forwards.

Clicks!

The sound of guns' trigger getting pulled was hear all over the place. My rationality kicked in and I stopped a few steps before the gun could touch my body. No one I encountered use any guns before, so I thought they won't even use it. Shit! With this distance, even an amateur bullet would injure me.

"We will need to hurt you if you don't stop," the man said again.

Am I really need to wait for help to get out of here? When I try to calculate and search for another opening, the back of my neck was hit and suddenly I lost all the strength in my body. I slumped to the grown, shoulder hitting the hard floor.

"Sir, why can't we... kill him?" A faded voice.

"He won't wire... money if... kill him"

"But, Sir-...."

"Shut-.... -st do as-.... say!"

Again, I lost consciousness.
