Sophia

"W-where are you going?" I asked Don as I saw him all set to go when I brought his food. He gave me a look and I realized I should not have asked. "I-I am sorry. I shouldn't question you. I didn't mean to disrespect you." I said in a low voice.

"Business. I am not sure when I will be back. Julio will be with you all the time. Do Not Step Out Of The House". he ordered me. I nodded to him and stood there in silent. "Answer me, do you understand? "y-yes u-understood Don" I said in a timid voice looking at him. I started making sure to look him in the eye when he talks. I have learned that hard way by now.  "That's my girl. He said and kissed me and I kissed him back. "Be Safe" I said as we broke the kiss. "Obviously" He said smirking. "Behave." He said as he left.

It's been a week since Don left. I don't know where he went neither I could know it from anyone. I am sure Alysia and Caprice wouldn't know anyways. Julio too says he has no idea and Ricardo, he won't tell me. But I guess he is ok else Ricardo won't be here going on with life. However, he too used to stay out most of the time "dealing with crap" as Caprice says.

I was feeding ducks in the garden pond when my mind drifted to the day Don saved my life. As Ricardo reached there he didn't took him to the hospital instead he brought the doctor with him. Zack was their gang doctor along with being the killer. quiet an irony I must say. He gave Don some injections and told us we shouldn't worry as Don is strong enough to survive much more than this. He kept fighting after the injury that made his blood lost a lot and hence he lost consciousness.

"Who was he? Tell me everything you know?". His brother asked me as we were in our room. Don was sleeping and Ricardo was pacing around in our room. No one else entered the room like Alysia told me the first day it's only his brother who is allowed inside. I replied while standing at the foot of the bed. "Sir, I-I don't know. Honestly I didn't realize until Don shot him. B-But I remember Don was threating regarding some Russo". "Damnit" he grunted. Throwing his fist in the wall. I flinched a bit a his action

We heard Don coughing and both of us reached to him in an instant. I stopped and straighten up when I saw him approaching Don too and let him hold his brother. He looked me stepping back but said nothing and held Don. I handed him the glass of water for Don. He took and made him drink. Don woke up and straighten up to sit. Ricardo helped him sitting up.

"What's going on?" Don said in a tired tone holding his injured arm. "You were sleeping on the job" Ricardo commented teasing him and then told him everything.

I could sense his anger radiating as he heard of Russo. Who is this Russo?

It took two days for Don to recover. At least he stayed in bed that much because Ricardo kept a strict watch on him to rest.

I smiled thinking of their relationship. They have a really strong bond I hope it never breaks. They have each other's back and no one should come between them.

Whatever Don said that day keep coming back to me again and again. You are mine Doll, no one can take you from me. I will burn this world if anything happens to you". 
Every time I remember his voice it made me shiver to the core.

It started raining and I rushed inside when an arm pulled me into him. "D-Don when did you come" "shhhh" he kept his finger on my lips. He was close and was getting closer and I was not able to breathe getting too close to him. He pulled my hair and in a moment I could feel his lips ravishing mine.

"Signorina! Signorina! Come inside you will get sick" I felt Alysia shaking me. I came out from a trance and looked rapidly here and there for Don. I went towards the gardens. "Signorina where are you going" Alysia followed me with her umbrella. "Where is he?" I asked looking around. "Where is who?" "Don". "Don, you know Don is not here" She replied stating the obvious. "No, no I saw him he was right here". I told her. "Signorina you might be thinking something, c'mon come inside you will get sick in the rain". She dragged me inside.
