He put his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him and we smiled as people took pictures of us standing by the lake Elizah drowned in.
At first my smile was big and real, but once I realized how much of a monster she was, that smile was gone and it was all that I could think about. "Vana give me a smile dear! You're finally 16!" My dad yelled with a huge smile on his face.
Don't let her ruin your day Vana, she already ruined 10 years of your life. I put on a fake smile and slightly laid my head on Draco's shoulder.
"Alright, let's get this party started." My dad said with a smile, we made our way back to the house and into the ball room.
Birthdays weren't really my thing, specially big ones but my parents loved them. They always wanted to stand out when it came to parties so I always let them, no matter how small the occasion was.
Everything was so neatly organized, I was in awe. "We did a good job planning this party." Draco said, I nodded and scanned the room for the Weaslys, Harry, Neville and Hermione but they weren't there.
"What's wrong?" Draco asked, I moved my eyes around suspiciously and shook my head. I didn't want him knowing I invited Gryffindors to our party, he would've gone crazy.

Night time came around and all of our guests were starting to leave. Draco and I sat down on some chairs all the way in the back and sighed in exhaustion.
Our birthday was the only day through the entire year we got to party the way we did. There was so much loud music, and screaming, we never had that fun since our parents were extremely strict, but at least my parents let us have a day off on our birthday.
I took off my heels and put them on the empty chair beside me. "There's another song to be played before the day ends." Draco said, I looked at him and smiled.
"Just don't disappoint me because my feet are killing me." I laughed, Draco nodded and we stood up to dance.

He pulled me out the ball room and up to the rooftop, the music was so loud we could hear it all the way outside.

"And I can see the Moon in yours." I said referring to his big Grey eyes that always made me smile. Draco chuckled and kissed my forehead as we moved slowly beneath the Moon. The full Moon. The Moon he always talked about when we were together at night. It was almost impossible to have the Moon look a certain way when we were together and apart, but what if it wasn't? What if the Moon was right and we were meant for each other?
