Star looks at herself through the mirror one last time, taking a deep breath.
She lightly smooths down her dress.

Star exits her dorm room and enters the common room only to pause when she see Remus siting on one of the couches.
"Hey." Star says
Remus looks up and he gapes at her.
Star smiles.
Remus stands and he puts a hand to his mouth. "Wow." Remus says in awe. Star laughs, blushing.
"What no insult." Star teases "I would but this is supposed to be a good night and your too beautiful to insult." Remus breaths
Star chuckles.
"Thanks and you look handsome. Do you have a date." Star ask "no, I didn't want to go with anyone....because of what I am." Remus says
"That shouldn't stop you from being happy Remus, any girl or guy would be lucky to have you." Star says
"Well....there was this one girl I wanted to ask, but I heard from a certain someone that she doesn't go with friends." Remus says
"Oh." Star says "then she's a fool if she didn't want to go with you." Star whispers
Remus smiles, "so who are you going with." Remus ask "Alec Mason." Star says "oh, he's nice I guess." Remus says, a little jealous, but he clears his throat, smiling.

Remus and Star leave the common room and head towards the ball room.
The doors open and the two stare in awe of the Christmas decorations, it was beautiful every single time.

Sirius had turned when he heard the doors open and his breath was taken away.
Star looks around and her eyes meet Sirius's, she swallows roughly, he looked handsome.
Suddenly Alec moves into view, a smile on his handsome face, he offers her hand like a perfect gentleman.
"You look heavenly Star." Alec breaths
Remus and Sirius look at the two in jealousy.
Star smiles and she gently takes his hand, letting him lead her to the others.

"You like her." Remus ask "so do you." Sirius says "I couldn't help it and I don't know how it happened. She's amazing Sirius, she doesn't care that I'm a monster." Remus says
"Before I say anything, you are not a monster Remus and I will continue to tell you so until the day we die. And now...of course she doesn't care and that's why I like her." Sirius says
"Siri let me have her, please, she's not like any girl I met." Remus practically begs "I know what I'm known as Remus, I know I'm not the most mature guy and I can never keep a girl for more then two weeks, but Star has been my single thought since I meet her and I think she's the one." Sirius says
"I can't let her go Sirius. I wish I was selfless enough but I'm a selfish man." Remus says
"I don't want you to get hurt over this Remus, I don't want this to hurt our friendship." Sirius says
"Please don't say that Sirius." Remus says
"I'm not going to let her go." Sirius says "well neither will I." Remus says

Star and Alec were dancing with one another, both smiling and laughing. "I like you Alec but I hope you know, we can't be anything more." Star says
"I know Star, I can see the way you look at Lupin and Black. I'm just glad that your in my arms for the moment, I like you too but I know I'll never complete with them." Alec says
"Your an amazing guy with a huge gift." Star says, making Alec laughs. "You'll make a girl really happy one day." Star says
"Maybe but for now, we're going to dance our asses off and then have a lot of hot sex." Alec says
Star knows she should turn it down but after the Sirius incident, she's been wired up and she hasn't had sex in a few weeks.
