"Is it me or did Star get a little bit shorter?" A voice asks
Star turns with an offended gasp. "You are one to talk!" Star exclaims
Marlene grins widely, approaching Star and Lily and dragging them into a hug. "Merlin am I glad to see you too, Mary has been nonstop talking about a book she read over the summer. I need some stimulation or I will rot into a pile of goo." Marlene whines as she pulls away to face them properly
Star chuckles, smoothing a hand down Marlene's hair. "It's okay, she means well." Star teases, pulling her towards the group. Marlene pouts, almost dragging her feet.
Mary greets the two with brief hugs before pulling away to allow the others some room to do the same. "So how was America? Did anything fun, by that I mean did you do someone fun?" Dorcas asks, sending her a playful wink.
Star chuckles, "There was a certain gentleman friend." Star teases "Okay now you have to tell us everything." Molly says with a small grin. "His name is Francis Bell, he's very pretty and very fit." Star states
Alice wiggles her eyebrows. "You do like the pretty ones." She teases
Star chuckles. "That I do. I wasn't exactly planning to have some extraneous fun with anyone but I ran into Francis at a coffee shop. He was working as one of the baristas, and Merlin could he work a green apron." Star says with a teasing smirk.
The girls chuckle. "Any man with a uniform is automatically hotter." Mary says "So true." Lily laughs. The group laughs. Star shakes her head fondly. "He was funny and extremely smart, so one thing lead to another, we were shagging and damn he was gooood." Star groans
"American men are a different breed." Dorcas hums, earning a nod of agreement from Star.
The girls then turn to Lily, "Now you, what's your excuse for not staying in touch." Molly asks, lightly scolding her. Lily chuckles while holding her hands up in surrender.
"My parents wanted us to go to Paris and I couldn't exactly contact you guys. My mother forbade that I use any magic on the trip." Lily says
The girls pout, "so there's nothing juicy or worth knowing." Marlene ask
"Nope." Lily says, popping the 'P.'
"Awww." Dorcas says
"Okay, what about you guys." Lily asks "Yeah Molly tell us, how are those sweet little boys of yours?" Star asks
That had Molly gushing all about her two kids. Molly was lucky, not many find the one they love at such a young age, Molly met Arthur Weasley and the two got to working and had two adorable redheaded babies.

The girls spent the rest of the train ride, catching up and talking about their summer vacations. "What do you guys think this year is going to be like." Molly asks, changing the conversation. The redhead settled into Alice's side.
"Mischief most likely, hopefully with a dash of romance. Let us pray that the summer helped some of the boys mature." Alice says "And by some boys, she means Frank Longbottom...." Dorcas teases
Alice blushes, scoffing and playfully hitting her shoulder. "Oh shove it Dorcas." Alice says playfully, while the rest watched with amused grins. "How about you Lily, are you finally going to give in to the notorious James Potter." Marlene asks, turning to a silent redhead.
Lily groans. "Merlin, I already have to deal with his constant flirting, I really don't need you pushing me into his arms." Lily says
Star smirks. "Oh come on, Lilypads... yeah he's aggravating and really annoying and childish, okay I have to cut myself off before I go any further but you have to admit, he's persistent. And yes! He's really hot, you have to acknowledge that." Star says
"That felt weird coming from you." Lily says, Star scrunches her face. "Yeah, that didn't feel natural." Star says
The girls burst into laughter.
