The Next Day...

Gulf POV

"Are you sure you are alright?" Khun Mew asked for the nth time.

"Yeah. But I think I need to get some hot packs. It so freaking hurt!" I whined as I took a seat and picked up the spoon before I start eating my lunch.

"That's weird. It shouldn't swell this much though. You even said you massage your legs last night," Khun Mew commented as he takes a closer at my feet.

"You're right though. It does look swollen. Worse than this morning," I agreed.

"Last night, you use cold water isn't it?" he asked for more details.

"Aw, but Art told me to use warm water?" I questioned him.

"What? Are you sure?"

"I think so..." I tried hard to remember.

"This won't do. Let's go get it checked, Na?" he threw a drastic suggestion.

"Khun, I have practice!" I reminded him.

"There would be tons of practice after this! But you only have a pair of legs!" he insisted.

"I feel bad to skip, Khun! Other students didn't even favor me much given that I was the only Music Major in Acting Team," I state the fact.

"Oih, fine. But we are going to get it checked right after your practice. No bargain!"

"Deal!" I simply agreed.

And I fucking regret it!

After 1 hour of practice, my legs feel worse!

"Gulf, are you alright?" Art asked full of concern as we walked out from the practice hall.

"I think so. But my feet are sore as hell!" I complained.

"Aw, you did massage your feet with cold water last night, right? It shouldn't hurt this bad if you did," he gets on his knees and takes a closer look at my feet.

Wait...

"Didn't you say to massage it with warm water?" I questioned.

"Oih, Gulf...I told you to use cold water! If heat is used immediately after a muscle stretch, it will actually send blood to the area, increasing the swelling," he explained in detail as he gets on his feet and walked away to receive a phone call.

I was about to walk when I realize, my shoelace is undone. I bend down to tie it up. But suddenly, I feel numb on the lower part of my body and lose my balance. Suddenly, the world rushes by in a blur. By reflex, I know the pain is coming. It goes by fast, yet slow, almost suspended. Then impact. I feel my bones move in a way they shouldn't jangle.

"Gulf!" a familiar voice screamed in panic.

Mew POV

I excuse myself as soon as the practice ended. Honestly, Gulf feet worry me this whole day. And what he said during lunch still bothers me.

Did Gulf misheard Art or did Art purposely give the wrong instructions?
