The Riddle: The Philosopher Stone ( Shifting Script/ Harry Potter Fan-fiction )

Chapter 25:

Me: "So what are you two doing? yall look to be very focused."

Harry: "They are having a food eating contest whoever finishes their food in the fastest time wins 3 galleons. I get the honor of being their referee!"

Me: "Oh my Merlin, this is going to be a showdown, I'll watch."

They appear to be eating 2 hamburgers, a medium chocolate milkshake, and large fries. Honestly, this is a light meal compared to what they eat back at Hogwarts

Harry: "On the start of three, eat as much as you can as fast as you can. Each contestant must play respectfully, I'm looking at you Sage. Is each contestant ready?"

Sage: "Im ready!"

Ron: "So am I."

Harry: "If that's so, you two can start eating in three,two, one GOO!"

They begin to start eating but they stay at the same fast pace. Everyone begins to cheer them on, and even the McDonald's employees are getting in on the action.

Me: "Go Sage! Go Ron! You guys got this!"

They continue to eat, but each gives a quick smile at me. Fred and George come out of the play place to see what everyone is doing.

Me: " 'Bout time that you two got here. Ron and Sage are having a food eating contest."

George: "And you didn't tell us about this before so we could put an amortentia spell of moaning myrtle in his milkshake? I'm disappointed in you Hazel."

I'm sure George was just joking but at the same time I knew he was definitely serious. Fred went to go kneel by Sage in the time me and George were speaking.

Fred: "Come on Sage you got this! Eat like the spider is chasing after you again and you can only finish this contest first to get out with your life."

They grinned at each other thinking they were the only ones who knew what they were talking about.

Sage: "You're right Freddie I have to do this, for the spider!"

Sage picked up her pace and took the lead against Ron. After a minute or so Sage took the landslide win. Everyone began to cheer for her and Ron looked annoyed. Sage jumped up and hugged Fred, He looked surprised but I mean he wasn't going to waste his opportunity so he hugged her back.

Ron: "Ok this was totally rigged I should've won that!"

He rolled his eyes at her and she laughed at him.

Harry:"And I pronounce Mrs.Sage Turner as the winner of the food eating contest!"

Everyone cheered including me, even Draco looked up from his milkshake and seemed to be enjoying the action. Sage bowed like she just got the leading role in a muggle movie.

Sage: "Thank you to all of my fans that have been supporting me on my food eating journey! I will be taking autographs after the show. Also Ron pay up your three galleons"

No muggles noticed her say galleons thankfully, after this we all began to laugh as the crowd went their separate ways. I went over to where Luna and Aarya were talking to the Mcdonald's clown like it was a magical creature.

Luna:"There's lots of creatures like you that live back where I come from."

Ari:"Yeah there's lots of clowns where I come from too."

Luna:"Clowns? I've never heard of that creature before. I'm sure they are wonderful though."

She smiles sweetly at the Mcdonald's clown that looks done with life. I decided to join in before Luna talks about the creatures in detail back at Hogwarts.

Me: "Hey guys! I'm assuming you are enjoying the Mcdonald's clown."

Luna: "Yes but it seems this Mcdonald's clown has lots of wrackspurts in their head."

She pokes the clown's head signaling where the wrackspurts apparently are. The clown backs away from Luna and takes off his wig.

Clown named Jerry:"I'M DONE WITH THIS I QUIT!"

He turns back to Luna while walking to the door.

Jerry the Clown: "AND NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON THAT'S NORMAL KNOWS WHATEVER A WACKSPURT IS!"

Luna:"Sorry sir I assume the nargles got to you! It was nice meeting you though Mcdonald's clown!"

Me and Ari lock eyes and begin to laugh with each other witnessing this all go down. After we calm ourselves down I feel a tap on my shoulder. It was Hermione, she was smiling at me.

Hermione:"Come on Hazel, we are about to sing happy birthday to you and Sage!"

I happily went over and joined the others around the table. I sat next to Sage. Ron brung out our favorite flavor of cake, red velvet. Me and Sage have always celebrated our birthday with Ron and the Weasleys since we were little, so he already has our favorite flavor memorized. All of our friends began to sing us happy birthday and Ron placed the cake in front of us.

Ron:"Happy 12th birthday to my favorite best friends!"

Me and Sage did our signature hand shake.

Sage: "Happy birthday twin, couldn't have survived without you."

Me: "And to think both of our parents thought we wouldn't have made it to 12 from doing something dumb together."

We begin to laugh, surprised but happy we made it to 12.

Fred:"Don't forget to make a wish when you blow out your candles, birthday girls!"

We smiled at him then blew out our candles in unison knowing I didn't have to make any wish at all because I had everything and everyone I ever wanted with me right at that moment. We pulled everyone into a group hug minus Draco, He didn't want to have to hug the Weasleys. We passed out slices of our cake and everyone ate it. I'm glad to have muggle food back for a night, Hogwarts food was nice, but muggle food has always been my personal favorite. After eating, we decided that it was time to leave because it was getting late.
