Chapter 5:

I am woken up by Sage. She is pushing for me to wake up. I sit up and rub my eyes to adjust the light. I look around, Hermione and Luna are standing up getting ready to change. We each have separate bathrooms so I stand up and thank Sage. She smiles and go's to take out her robes and get ready in the bathroom. I go to my wardrobe and get out my tie, robe, polo shirt, skirt, high knee socks, and my cute black boots. I'm sure no one will mind that I am wearing a different type of shoes. I go ahead and head to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and blow dry my hair with a muggle hair dryer. I brushed my smooth curls and brushed my teeth. I then put on the rest of my uniform as I only had my Polo shirt on and my skirt. I walk out of the bathroom to see Hermione, Sage, and Luna ready. I came up to them and asked,

Me: " Hey guys! Do you guys want to walk down together to the Great Hall?"

Sage replied with an enthusiastic

Sage: " Yes, of course!"

Hermione looked a little worried but then replied

Hermione: " Yah, alright, but we have to head out now because class starts in forty five minutes."

Luna looked at Hermione and then back at me and smiled gently.

Luna: " I'm ok with that. Shall we head out now?"

She said delicately. I smiled at everyone, feeling good about the day. I happily said,

Me: " Let's head out! Remember to go out from your own doors."

Everyone shook their head and walked out of the dorm. I went to the common room and saw Cedric grabbing some food from the table. It seemed like everyone was grabbing food from there. I went up to Cedric, keeping in mind that I had to leave to go to Sage, Hermione, and Luna. I said,

Me: " Cedric, why is there food here?"

He looked confused and then said,

Cedric: " Ohhh, I forgot you were a first year. Hufflepuffs have the pleasure to be next to the Dining Hall, so the house elves bring the food here so that the Hufflepuffs can eat here."

I awed at this statement. Hufflepuffs really were lucky. I smiled and was about to grab a plate, until I remembered that Luna and Sage and Hermione were waiting for me. I frowned and looked back at Cedric

Me: " Sorry Ced, but I actually can't eat here at the moment, I am going to meet up with the rest of my friends. But I will see you later Ced!"

I said while walking out to the portrait, He whispered

Cedric: " Ced...hmm"

He smiled blushing a little. But I left and met up with the three girls and saw that they were a little frustrated.

Hermione: " You know Hazel, It doesn't take five minutes to come down here. Besides, we were about to leave you but Sage over here wanted to wait."

Sage looked confused as well. We all headed down the hallway as we were going down to the Dining Hall. I sighed and said

Me: " Sorry everyone, I went down to the common room and found out, they serve breakfast in the Hufflepuff common room. I saw Cedric and asked what was going on."

Everyone looked at me, seeming jealous.

Sage: " We don't have any in my common room! I just saw lame Malfoy as he sat on the couch with Goyle and Crabbe. He still has the mark you made when you slapped him last night!"

She was laughing while I could feel my anger get the best of me. I scoffed. We were at the entrance and a lot of people were there, yet there was barely anyone in the Hufflepuff table. I wonder why. I decided to walk over with Sage to the Slytherin table since I didn't want to be alone. Almost everyone shifted their seats to another table every once in a while. I sat down in front of her and I had a piece of toast with butter and marmalade on top. I chatted with Sage for a while. I kept looking at the clock so that we could keep track of time. I saw three figures coming towards us, and they came closer so that I could see their details. It was Dr-MALFOY, HIS NAME IS MALFOY, Crabbe, and Goyle come next to Sage. He looked at me with his gray, ocean eyes. I breathed in again remembering what he did yesterday and I just glared at him. We were staring at each other for a while. Sage looking between the both of us in a confused look. She finally broke the tension.
