Sage was glaring at me with a smile on her face and her eyebrows up. I sat down next to her, we were in the middle row. I said

Me: " What are you looking at?"

Sage's jaw dropped

Sage: " At you and Oliver silly."

I looked at her with a confused face

Me: " Do you just know everyone in this school?"

And replied with

Sage: " Pretty much. He's friends with Fred, they play Quidditch together.'

I rolled my eyes and looked at my parchment paper with a smile on my face. And he's a Quidditch player. Wow. Even better. Professor Quirrel came into the class and said

Professor Quirrell: " Quiet down class! Please settle down!"

He said in a shaky voice, as if he were nervous. People slowly started being quiet. He was teaching us how to unlock a lock. He gave each of us one and said

Professor: " Now, with your wands, I want you to practice how to unlock the lock I gave each one of you with your partner. Please find it in your textbooks."

So me and Sage took our wands from the pocket inside our robes. I walked and went to the textbook shelf and grabbed my textbook. It had my name on the inside stating that I was the owner or the textbook. I went back to our seats and saw that Sage was blurting out random spells like

Sage: " ¡Reducto! "

The lock fell on the floor. I rolled my eyes and picked it up. I put it back on the table when suddenly Sage said

Sage: " Descendo!'

It went flying back and dropped. I said

Me: " Sage, you can't just splurt out spells not knowing how to use them! Besides, I got the textbook. Open it and look through it while I go get the lock."

She rolled her eyes and said

Sage: " Lumos!"

Her wand was so bright I closed my eyes. I replied

Me: " Open the textbook NOW."

She tucked her wand not knowing how to make the wand stop being so bright. I grabbed the lock and came back to the table. Sage was still trying to figure out how to extinguish the light. I finally saw the page where it was talking about how to unlock a secret lock just in case of being trapped in an emergency. I shoved Sage's shoulder and she looked up hiding her wand in her robe to dim the light.

Me: " Look Sage! I found the spell! Guess you can use the textbook to find the right spell instead of blurting out spells."

I raised my right eyebrow and lifted up the right side of my lip. She scoffed and looked at the textbook while I took the lock and raised my wand.

Me: " Alohomora"

The lock's loop got up and twisted to the side, signaling that it was unlocked. Professor Quirrell was watching us and said

Professor Quirrell: " Well done Miss Riddle and Miss Turner! I reward you each a licorice wand!"

Everyone was groaning pointing out how they were jealous that we found it so fast. I smiled and grabbed one of the licorice wands while Sage had her wand in her hand and when she went to grab it, she blinded Professor Quirrell with the light shining out of the tip of her wand. He turned his head blinking fast while Sage brought her wand back down. Professor Quirrell put his free hand over his face and said

Professor Quirrell: " Say nox Sage! Nox!"

Sage shook her face and put her wand out and said

Sage: " Nox!"

It went out. Professor Quirrell dropped the licorice wand on her desk and said

Professor Quirrell: " Thank you Sage, um, let's talk about why we need to learn Alohomora for some cases."

Sage looked down and said

Sage: " Sorry everyone!"

I giggled and placed my hand on her shoulder

Me: " I'm gonna make sure you never forget about that."

She shoved her shoulder away making my hand fly into the air. I was laughing while she was angry with my words. Class was done after twenty more minutes.
