Chapter 24:

Everyone was in shock. Most of them have never done this before. We all let go of each other's hand and looked around. Me and Sage kept our hands together, and we walked towards the door. While I was looking ahead, looking forward to seeing Aarya again, Sage looked back still walking and motioned for everyone to come and follow us. We were finally at the front of her door. There were decorations put all over the house. I said to everyone

Me: " Look closely everyone, this is how we trick or treat ok?"

Everyone nodded as a response and watched me and Sage. Everyone made sure to hide their wands very carefully and make sure that it was secure so it wouldn't get lost in the wrong hands. Hermione took out her tiny book and started to read. Hermione, this was not the time. Me and Sage knocked on the door and then rang the bell. Everyone had their own pillow case to take. Me and Sage opened our bags and heard that everyone else was too. The door suddenly opened fast and we could all hear chattering in the house. Me and Sage said

Me and Sage: " Trick or Treat Mrs. Williams!"

Everyone lifted up their bag and said the same thing. Except for Hermione who said

Hermione: " Oh, i'm good, I don't eat sweets, it's bad for your teeth."

I could see her from the crowd of us pointing at her teeth. Her Parents are dentists so the apple doesn't really fall far from the tree. Mrs. Williams had a fake smile but then looked to us with a genuine smile.

Mrs. Williams: " What are you girls doing here? I see you brought some company."

She glanced over to everyone, who were impatient to get candy. Then Mrs. Williams grabbed the bucket of candy and first gave a handful to me and Sage.

Mrs. Williams: " Happy Birthday girls and Happy Halloween! Aarya is just finishing her costume."

We said our thank yous and went to the back to make sure everyone was doing the right thing. Saying thank you and moving on. After us, it was the Weasley twins. They held up their bags and got a handful of candy. They looked at each other and said

Fred and George: " Wicked."

They went back to try and show us but we were too busy making sure that everyone was being nice. Next was Ron and Harry. Harry had never trick or treated since his muggle family were insane. They were both nervous, but Mrs. Joshi smiled at them and gave them each a handful of sweets. Ron smiled and opened his mouth, took his hand and put it in the bag to see what he got. Harry said thank you and went back to us. Ron's smile went down and he said Thank you. He came to the back with us and said

Ron: " What are these? I've never heard of these before? Hersheys? M & M's?"

Me and Sage laughed and told him that it was muggle candy and it tasted as good. Luna came to the back of us and said

Luna: " The kind lady gave me some candy! She does have a lot of Wrackspurts in her head though."

We laughed and patted Luna on the shoulder. We saw Draco standing in the corner just looking at us. He looked jealous, since he didn't take his pillow case. Everyone was done and we were just waiting outside for Aarya. Other kids started coming up to the door and doing the same thing. Muggles. Draco looked disgusted. I went up to him while Sage was too busy having a thumb war with George and Fred. I came up to him and he looked happy to see me. I said

Me: " Want to share the candy when we get back to Hogwarts?"

He smiled and then dropped it to make sure he still had his Malfoy in him.

Draco: " Um, yah, fine. Whatever."

I giggled a little and pulled him into a tight hug, no one was paying attention, so why not? Draco put his hands on my back and rubbed them. I could smell the cologne and apples again. Ugh, they made me want to squeeze him even tighter. I pulled back and stared at Draco. This was round forty six since the first time I saw him. Yah, I counted, I marked. I heard a door slam and saw Aarya with a diva costume. Me and Sage ran towards her and hugged. We almost made her fall to the floor. She said

Aarya: " Ugh why do you guys have to be so far away! I missed you both too much. Anyways, Happy Birthday! Ok, let's go and trick or treat."

She was pulling us to go and trick or treat when we pulled back and Sage said

Sage: " Um, we have something to tell you."

She looked back. She saw quite a few people staring at us.

Aarya: " Hazel, Sage. Who are these boys and girls? And why does one of the girls look like a blobby jellyfish from spongebob, moving her arms as if she is doing a ritual? And then that guy over there has no costume and looks like he wants to kill me?"

Can't you tell this was going great? No, it wasn't. This was going horrible.

Me: " Um, those people came from our school, and they never trick or treated before. Sage and I thought, why not invite them to our birthday bash with you! I'm sure you will like them! Trust me, they won't kill you!"

Aarya looked at us with a confused look but then relaxed her face and smiled saying

Aarya: " Alright, I don't know if I will like them, but i'm willing to try. The only reason I'm not mad is because I just want to spend time with you two. But if that means having a bunch of people who act as if they are baboons, then why the hell not?"

We started jumping up and down in excitement. We were going to make sure this day would be insanely fun. The rest of the crew started chatting with Aarya instantly. They were definitely getting used to Aarya being a muggle. She acted as hectic as us and had the same type of humor as us. Sometimes they would slip with a magic joke, but then cover it up as if they were kidding. She even got along with Luna and Hermione. She loved hanging with Hermione only because Hermione loved to learn about Muggle schools. She would try and cheer Draco up every now and then, but he didn't grudge. Fred and George made multiple stops to scare children though.
