The Mourning Nature

I remember the days I woke up

and stood still in front of my window

enjoying the view of sunrise.

I remember those days I saw

the greenery around me and

enjoyed the smell of nature.

I remember the soothing voices

of nightingales and wondered

"Who might be their teacher?"

I remember the days I touched

windowsill to enjoy the painting of

pitter-patter raindrops formed on my window.

I remember the smell of sand in

rainy season and

the cool breeze of the rain.

But all I could see now is the

broken nature, mourning for its loss.

I feel hot wind at the beach,

the greenery turned into brown,

the music turned into silence...

When I asked, "what had happened to mother nature?

I received no answer

but the destruction continued

and so did the mourning music of nature...
