His Unreachable Dream

Thank you so much for 600+ reads!

Thank you AJ for giving me such an amazing topic:)

The sky looming gloomily,

the bodies scattered around,

the air mourning for the lost lives,

while the wailing of people echoes.

Amidst the chaos,

a thin young boy sat dreamily,

with his sullen eyes looking around,

while his stomach let out a dying whale sound.

He didn't dream of cars,

he didn't dream of luxury toys,

he dreamed of a world,

where he could live in peace.

He dreamed of a world

where he could play without any fear,

where he can subside his stomach ache,

where he can sleep peacefully.

A white dove passed,

and he wanted to snatch it,

for he was afraid it would fly,

taking away the peace he dreamed.

He caught the dove,

and he heard an ear-splitting explosion,

pulling him far away from the dove,

and his dream became unreachable.
