Umabot nang maghapon noong araw na yun pero hindi na nakapunta si Trev. They're probably just joking about him joining us. Why would he, right?
Almost a month nang hindi nagpaparamdam si Trevor sa'kin, nor texting me. He probably got back to his senses and spends more time on his studies. Good for him though.
"You like him, don't you?" Hiro suddenly asked. They're on double date pero they wanted me to join them to at least divert my attention.
Simula kasi nung di na na nagparamdam or nagpakita man lang si Trev, mas naging busy ako sa pag-aaral. And to be honest, yes, I kinda miss his presence.
"I don't exactly know if I like him, or I was just attached. Madali akong ma-attach, you know. Gaya sa'yo, di pa kita gaanong katagal na kilala but I am attached with you already." I saw him smile.
"Alam mo bang gustong-gusto ko nang makilala ang parents ni Allison, kahit a month pa lang kaming official. Hindi pa ako sure kung tuloy ba yung wedding na sinasabi niya, pero gusto ko nang manigurado." He looked down as he smiled bitterly. "She's just... Ah, how do I explain this?" He chuckled.
"It's okay, kahit random words sabihin mo, mage-gets ko yan."
Tumingin siya sa salon kung saan nagpapaayos yung tatlo. I looked at them too, Allison is laughing at Yuen's reaction while being waxed. Avi is also laughing with them while recording Yuen.
"She's extraordinary, unique I should say. She's one in a billion. I just can't afford to lose her if ever. I know I have been a jerk for not treating her right before. Sa hindi ko pagseseryoso sa kung ano yung nararamdaman namin pareho. I was just scared that she might reject me. Alam kong alam mo na maraming kaharutan yan. And isa yun sa naging dahilan why I'm pursuing her now."
Wow, that was sweet. Allison deserves a man like him. They really deserve each other. Pucha pre, sana all na lang. Hindi ko ine-expect na ganto pala yung thoughts niya about kay Allison.
"I want to marry her, I want her to be the only woman whom my future kids will call 'mom'. I cant imagine my future without her."
"Lakas ng tama mo ah." Biro ko.
"Nagki-cringe ka na ba?" Natawa lang kami pareho.
"Pero seryoso, usapang matino Hiro. Sana lang talaga totoo yang sinasabi mo. Gaya nga ng sabi mo, she's unique. Wala ka nang mahahanap na gaya niya. Please take care of her."
Months have passed and natapos ang school year. Next school year graduating na kami, maliban kay Avi . Naging maayos naman ang takbo ng lovelife ng dalawa kong kaibigan. And lagi akong fifth wheel sa dates nila. Ayos lang, busog naman ako eh.
"Sure ka na bang gusto mo na talagang pakasalan si Hiro?" Tanong ko kay Allison.
Ewan ko ba sa dalawang yan, next week na agad ang kasal. Halos anim na bwan pa lang since naging official sila.
"Yes dear little sister." We're inside a boutique, currently looking for her wedding dress as well as bridesmaid's dresses.
"Hoy Avi, mamili ka na rin ng dress niyong dalawa ni Kyla." Tumayo naman kami agad ni Avi. Some staffs here assisted us.
Blue and white ang motif ng wedding niya. The store has prepared some dresses and made us choose. Avi chose an a-line gown with tiered skirt. Hanggang sahig ang haba nun.
Nauna na siyang mag-fit nun sa fitting room pero hindi pa rin ako makapili. Gosh.
"This would look good on you, miss." A girl with a wavy brunette hair then showed me an ombre spaghetti strap. It is in royal blue and white color. Pa-gradient siya kaya ang cute tignan.
"Really? Thanks but, I don't think babagay sa'kin yan."
She just shrugged and walked out of the shop. San nanggaling yun? Costumer din ba dito or napadpad lang? Tumingin ako ulit sa dress na pinakita niya. Maganda naman kaso ang revealing masyado lalo sa bandang dibdib.
"May taste ka naman pala sa ganyan eh." Avi went out of the fitting room. Suot na niya yung dress niya and it fits perfectly! She played with the strap. "I like this, hihi. Easy access."
"Huh?" Pinagsasabi nitong easy access?
"Nothing. Isukat mo na yan. Babagay yan sa'yo. Go, go!" Tinulak niya ako papasok at saka umupo sa couch.
I stared at it once again. Di kaya ako masabihang pokpok nito? Masyadong exposed balat ko. Jeez! I finally decided to give it a try and to my surprise it also fits perfectly! It hugged my not-so-perfect curves on my waist. And hindi naman pala masyadong exposed dibdib ko. Well medyo but, hayaan mo na. Minsan lang naman.
"See? I told you so! Bagay sa'yo!" Nahiya ako ng konti shet. Minsan lang kasi pumuri to si Avi. Mas madalas ako laiitin neto eh. Pero more like criticisms naman. I find it helpful at times.
"You both look gorgeous." Nilabas ni Allison yung Polaroid camera niya. Nagtabi naman kami ni Avi and posed for a picture. "Sayang di ko pa pwedeng isukat yung gown ko. Alam niyo na, pamahiin."
"We will take these na po." We changed into our usual outfits before going to the counter and paid for the dresses.
"Anong style ng gown mo?" I asked. Nagpeprepare na kami ng invitations. Three days na lang bago yung wedding and we're rushing it na. Tho we are making sure that the quality are still good. Approximately 250 people lang ang aattend sa kasal ni Allison, more on friends and relatives lang ng both sides. They want it to be lowkey private.
"Secret!" She giggled. "I still can't believe guys. I'm getting married na. Matatali na ako kay Hiro for the rest of my life."
"That's why we are asking you if you're sure na." Avi said. It's not that we don't want them to cancel their wedding pero we are just making sure. Hindi biro ang kasal ah!
"Yes, I can't imagine myself with another man. Alam niyo naman na oo, maharot ako but at the end of the day, siya lang yung gusto kong yakapin. Siya lang yung gusto kong ipagluto, siya lang yung gusto kong maging tatay ng magiging anak namin." She smiled genuinely as she wiped her tears.
So they're both feeling the same thing, huh. Masaya ako para sa kanila. I am now at ease.
