Ch. 20 That Giant King is furious as a bull

At the Egyptian exhibit, Gus awakens, and he starts to scowl at Reginald for letting Angel escape. 

" Why did you let that brat escape?" Gus sternly stared at Reginald. 

" The boy was using my cane as a weapon, and you were unconscious," Reginald merely tells Gus. 

" Because of you, that brat is going to take the Tablet from Cecil," Gus glared at Reginald. 

" Cecil is a smart man, Gus. He is not going to let the boy take the Tablet from him," Reginald reassured Gus. " Now. We must find a way to leave this place while the Mummy and his so-called guards still sleep," The dark-skin elder looked at his surroundings. 

" Reginald. Cecil deactivated the Tablet. That Mummy and his goons are not going to wake up," Gus carefully stands up as he and Reginald walked towards the door. 

" Do you have something that we can use to unlock this door?" Gus sternly asked Reginald while eyeing the door. 

" Hm. Let me check," Reginald begins to check his pockets. 

' The moon has risen, and I am now awake. My Angel must be waiting for me,' Pharaoh Ahkmenrah happily tells himself, and he blinks in confusion when he hears shouting outside of his coffin. 

" You punks! Get away from us," Gus sternly shouts at the Anubis statues that are pointing their spears at him and Reginald. 

" Gus," Reginald sternly stared at Gus since the dark-skin elder did not want to get killed by the Anubis statues. 

" What is going on?" Pharaoh Ahkmenrah whispers as he puts his hands on the coffin, and he uses his strength to open it. 

Reginald and Gus froze when they see the coffin opened, and a sun-kissed hand pops up and tightly grasped the casket as Pharaoh Ahkmenrah stands up, revealing himself to the two elders. 

" Who are you?" Pharaoh Ahkmenrah sternly eyed Reginald and Gus since it is his first time meeting the two elders.

" I am not afraid of a stupid kid!" Gus shouts as he sternly stared at Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah's greenish-brown eyes coldly stared at Gus since the young male did not appreciate how the elder male spoke to him. 

" Gus. Shut your trap! You do not know who you are dealing with," Reginald sternly shouts at Gus. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah stepped out of his coffin as he walked towards Gus and Reginald, causing the Anubis statues to eye the two elders carefully. 

" Romeo!" A familiar male voice calls out to Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah stops walking as he, Gus, and Reginald turned their gaze to see Larry, President Theodore Roosevelt, and Nick with Jedediah and Octavius on his shoulder, standing outside of the Egyptian exhibition. 

" Larry! Nick! If you two are here, then my Angel must have arrived," Pharaoh Ahkmenrah brightly smiled at Larry and Nick. 

Larry and President Theodore Roosevelt looked at each other in worry since Nick, Jedediah, and Octavius informed the two males that Cecil had taken Angel and the Tablet as hostages. 

" Your Highness, Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. I want you to remain calm when I inform you of such terrible news," President Theodore Roosevelt calmly stared at Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. 

" Where is My Angel, President Theodore Roosevelt?" Pharaoh Ahkmenrah asked as his positive aura quickly shifted to a stern one. 

Larry puts his hand on the door handle, and he blinks when he sees that it is locked. 

" Shit. I need to unlock the door," Larry mumbled as he pulls out his keys and he tries to open the door. 

President Theodore Roosevelt opened his mouth to speak, but Nick beat him to it. 

" Angel got kidnapped! You have to help us save him!" Nick cries out as his blue eyes that he shares with Angel intently stared at Pharaoh Ahkmenrah's greenish-brown eyes.

The Egyptian exhibition stayed silent as it suddenly started to get cold. 

" Um. I think the Giant King here is getting upset," Jedediah nervously tells the others when he sees Pharaoh Ahkmenrah staring at everyone with a darkened stare. 

" Cecil must have taken that stupid punk and the Tablet with him so he can escape freely," Gus started to laugh. 

" Gus," Reginald sternly stared at Gus as his brown eyes widened in surprise when he sees Pharaoh Ahkmenrah grabbing his friend by the collar. 

" Peasant! Who is this Cecil, and what does he want with my Queen?" Pharaoh Ahkmenrah sternly asked Gus. 

" It is quite rare seeing the Giant Pharaoh upset. He is usually calm and collected," Octavius worriedly tells the others. 

" Well. The Pharaoh's Queen is in danger. So, of course, he will be upset," President Theodore Roosevelt responds to Octavius. " My boy, have you found the correct key to unlock the door?" The older male worriedly asked Larry. 

" No. There are so many keys. I-I do not know which one it is," Larry nervously tells President Theodore Roosevelt, feeling scared since his nephew, Angel, has gotten kidnapped by a crazy elder. 

" Y-Your Highness, Pharaoh Ahkmenrah," Reginald nervously calls out to Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah glanced at Reginald coldly as his hands tightly grasped Gus' collar. 

" Cecil believes that if he takes Angel and the Tablet as hostages. He will be safe when he leaves the Museum," Reginald honestly tells Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah's greenish-brown eyes narrowed as he drops Gus, who fell as he turns to face the door, and he walks towards it with a furious stare. 

" Um. You guys. The Giant King is heading this way!" Jedediah warns his friends. 

President Theodore Roosevelt immediately noticed Pharaoh Ahkmenrah's furious stare. 

" Leave those keys," President Theodore Roosevelt firmly tells Larry as he grabbed the black-haired male by the back of his shirt, and he pulls him to the side as Nick goes to stand beside the two males with Jedediah and Octavius clinging to the child so they wouldn't fall. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah stood in front of the door as he used his right leg to kick it, causing the door to open. 

Jedediah whistled. 

" That Giant King is furious as a bull," Jedediah stared at Pharaoh Ahkmenrah with amazement as he and the others watched the doors opened. 

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah stepped out of the Egyptian exhibit as he turns his gaze to Larry, Nick, and the others. 

" Please. Help me retrieve my Queen and the Tablet of Ahkmenrah," Pharaoh Ahkmenrah firmly asked Larry, Nick, and the others. 

" I know someone who can help us get your Queen and the Tablet of Ahkmenrah safe and sound," President Theodore Roosevelt intently stared at Pharaoh Ahkmenrah as he begins to escort him and the others to the Corps of Discovery expedition exhibit.
