Dear Anne , Oct 13 1899
Congratulations on the job. I know that when you left that's not what you really expected for you to be doing but it's still awesome.
I also can't believe that ruby and moody are expecting a baby. I can't imagine Moody being a father. I still remember when he came over to my house one day to hangout . We walked around the town and we decided to prank someone. Moody was the braver one in that situation and ran behind the lady. He of course got smacked in the head . Oh you do not want to know what happened when Moody's mother found out about it.
That's great that Fred and Diana's baby is all healthy and they're healthy.
I was wondering that when I do come back because I know that you don't want to live in New York and frankly neither do I. So I was wondering that when I come back when are we going to have our wedding. We've been engaged for around 5 months now. Which is fine because I love you and I'd wait for you but I was just wondering on when I get back if we'll start planning it.
Because of what Bash has told me planning a wedding is pretty hard. There's a lot of stuff that goes along with it. Plus we'll need to save up some money. Maybe if you want to of course is that you could try and publish your book? I bet so many people would love it.
I hope you're having a wonderful time in Avonlea and I can't wait to see you again. I love you

Anne once again went out for the mail. She went outside every morning. Just to check if Gilbert's letter had come in yet. Today wasn't Anne's lucky day. She made her way back inside with a sigh. It was getting sort of chilly outside . Anne was planing on going to Charlottetown the next day with Jerry to buy some coats and boots for her and Marilla . Once winters comes they'll need some coats. Jerry already had coats and boots so he was fine with going and not getting anything. Anne thanked him for it .
She took up some toast for Marilla. Lately that's all Marilla has been wanting to eat . She hasn't had much of an appetite so Anne has made her toast every morning and for lunch and dinner she'd give her some eggs and milk. Anne knew that that is hard on your stomach but Marilla said that it wasn't her stomach that was hurting it was more just her body in general.
Anne had asked the doctor if it was fine for Marilla to be having eggs and milk everyday and he allowed it. He said "if she's eating it and she's not throwing up by it it's fine. Just sometimes lay back on the milk. Dairy isn't good for you when you're sick" Anne nodded her head and thanked him for coming in.

November 17
Anne was wondering where on earth the letter went. She was walking on a path way in the forest. It was a very sunny day , and as Anne would say. 'It had much scope for the imagination' ( sorry if I didn't quote that right)
All of the sudden she heard a noise in the bushes . She looked around her but it seemed like no one was there. She figured that it was just a bunny or maybe her fox?
Anne decided to continue on with her walk ignoring the noise . Then out of no where a loud scream came out from the bushes. Which followed by Anne screaming at the top of her lungs.
She opened her eyes and saw a certain blonde hair boy , with a huge smile on his face . "Geez Anne , the city must've made you a scaredy-cat" he laughed at the poor red headed girl.
"Well I'm glad to see you too cole" Anne said with a smile . He smiled back at the girl. Cole started to run toward something. Anne followed him , which was kind of awkward seeing as though they hadn't seen each other in almost half a year. She ran towards the young Man until he had started to slow down . Anne looked to her side to see what Cole was staring at.
