It's okay
To be in a state of confusion
and overwhelmed by your own guilt
It's okay
To let the tears fall
On someone else's shoulder
It's okay
To not know the voices inside
Just let the voices be
Because soon it will fade
As your silence is the biggest wall of denial they can't break through
It's okay
To not be robots
Because emotions are not only for the weaklings
Even the strongest has regrets
Even the bravest screams
So
Stop washing those scars away
And look up to that little glimpse of sunshine translucent from the silver clouds you've created
As I caress your cheeks
And tell you it's okay.
