There could be a time
where the heart that is choosing
is not embedded with love
But with lust, desire, and greed
There could be a time
where the owner of the heart is confused
He thought he is in love
But he knew within the declaration that he's actually not
There could be a time
where the one who receives the heart is guilty
because she could tell by his eyes he wished to say 'I wish I really love you'
but she knew that letting him go means there is no more music after silence
There is no more applause after a show
No more space for the butterflies
Most of the time They knew they weren't loved
But being together in the dark means better than to be lonely in the crowd
They would continue to hold onto it as if being together is the only way it takes
to feel alive
