My race

In the midst of urgency

I missed my patience

I saw too much

of others' length of race track

therefore I lose too much of myself

witnessing the view

that I even forgot of tying my own shoes to run for mine

After the game ends

The crowd starts cheering for the players

and I realised how lonely I was standing in the crowd

"What am I even doing here?"

The rain falls tapping on my shoulder

whispers words of my wisdoms into my ear

that I once feed myself with nourishing my purpose of life

Hence I got up from the spectator seat

to the actual track of my own stadium

The crowd went silent

watching over my leaving

Here I am

on the ride track, pleased to be meeting with the same lines again in this chapter

The starter pistol buzzing over my eardrums
