Lapis pov

I feel completely broken, steven is dead, I... I couldn't save him and now he's gone because of me! As I lay here crying over his dead body, I then look to see how broken Greg is he seats on the other side of steven holding his hand crying.

Greg pov

"Son I... I'm so sorry I failed you, I'm sorry I was not a great father but I love you son! I always will!" As he hugs Vidalia tightly while she trys to comfort him.

Ruby and sapphire pov

Our cutie pie, Steven... We failed him, we should have been there for him when he needed us,

"Ruby I don't thank we can fuse as Garnet for a while..." I tell her

"I know..." She says As we hug each other

Peridot pov

I look at the star shirt steven gave me a few mouths back, as I remember how i betrayed him to contact Yellow diamond, how hurt he was... And now he's gone. As i hug amythest tightly

Amythest pov

Steven, my brother... Is gone I should have done more! I knew after spinel came something was wrong even after he was corrupted. "I'm sorry steven for everything..."

As I look to see the diamonds each place a hand on steven.

White Diamond pov

"Steven where sorry for everything I'm sorry for everything I did this..." I say as tears fall from my face.

Lapis pov

I look at steven again and remember how he used to be. So happy and always wanting to help others, the reason I fall in love with him in the first place.

"Lapis it's... It's time to go." Peridot tells me

"I... I can't leave him!" I yell at her tears falling.

"Okay..." She says leaving

"Steven I...i want you to know how sorry I am for all I did to you... I was selfish and cold... But I will always love you..."

As I gently kiss his head and begen to leave.

But then I hear something... I look at the computer to see it's beeping again

"What? Steven?" I say a hopfull a smile growing.

"Guys! Get in here now!" I yell to them as they all run back in.

"What!? What happened?" Pearl yells scared

As we are lift completely speechless. As we look to see steven wake up!

Steven pov

"Ugh. Where..., where am I?" As I place my hand over the spot where my bandage is, feeling really weak and dizzy.

I then remember everything that has happened over the past few days from almost shattering Lapis to being knocked out by onion.

"Steven!!"

Ruby, sapphire, pearl and amythest run to hug me

"My baby's okay!" Pearl yells crying

"We thought we lost you forever bro!" Amythest hugs me tightly.

"Welcome back little dude." Bismuth says placeing a hand on my shoulder smiling.

"Steven!" My dad yells hugging me.

"I was so scared!" he says crying

"It's okay dad, im here."

As I then look to see lapis, as i remember when she said she loved me and how i hurt her I have to apologize.

As I get up and try to walk only to trip and pearl and bismuth catch me.

Lapis pov

I'm so happy steven is back, I want to go talk but I'm steel nervous he will attack me again even with his tumor removed.

"Lapis..." I then look to see steven in front of me.

"Lapis I...i"

Steven looks down unable to look to look me in the eyes

"Lapis I... I'm so sorry, I tried to fight it I tried as hard as I could, I'm sorry..." he says a tear falling...

I smile gently putting my hand on his cheek.

"I know Steven, it's okay." I say smiling warmly at him. As he smiles back.

I really want to kiss him... But it's just not the right time. As we all hug steven.

Steven is back and the nightmare is finnaly over.
