Chapter 7: Furniture and fights

(Kate's POV)

"I am so glad we got to hang out, I felt like we haven't seen each other in forever even though I see you all the time because your dating Kynley and you are one of my best friends"

I tell Adam as we walk back from furniture places as he helps me pick out stuff for the house.

"Yassss"

Yep there's Adam!

We go to a couple more stores but of course we had to stop by Aeropostale and American Eagle before going home because I needed some thing else for my channel up today.

We drive by lots of restaurants in the little but busy town. I am sitting in the passenger seat as Adam drives passing shops and other random places I see Mitch walking down the side walk holding her hand.

When did they go out today?

"ADAM GO PARK OVER THERE"

"Okay geez"

We pull into a parking lot about 4 stores across from where they were.

I step out and grab my purse. Adam and I then walk down the side walk.

I am looking at the ground as we keep walking hoping this was a good decision. Boy was this a stupid decision!

Ow.

I bump into someone and fall to down on the side walk just like them.

I look up to see Mitch laughing.

"Hey, no frappe?"

I smile. "Nope I forgot sorry"

I stand up brushing of my shirt and look back at them.

"So," Mitch eyes Adam and his smile drops from his face. Now what's wrong with him. "what were you guys doing" he says quite harshly.

I stand there and watch Emma just stare at her nails blankly not really showing much interest in the conversation.

I look back at Mitch "Just getting clothes for a haul on my channel"

Emma stops and looks up.

"Wait..."

She looks me up and down like I'm her prey.

"You sound familiar.....wait are you?"

"ARE YOU K8SAYS ON YOUTUBE" She squeals, what a hypocrite.

"Yeah" I smile falsely.

She squeals again and jumps to give me a hung

"I f***ing don't give a s**t who you are Kate, stay away from Mitch or else you wont see the end of this, he's mine."

She backs away from the "hug" and smiles.

Yep, still a b***h.

"Oh great to see you guys get along, maybe you guys can record or something together" Mitch gestures

"Oh no I bet Kate is to famous for me. That won't be necessary, she has lots of other friends and I don't want to get in the way."
Emma gushes like a angel to Mitch.

They almost kiss but I make him cut to the chase.

"It won't be a issue will it Kate?" Mitch asks me as he turns to me.

Adam, Mitch, Emma.

Why do they all have to stare at me?

"Umm. Well. You see. But." I start freaking out. WHAT THE CRAP AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY?

A tear falls from my eye but I turn around and wipe it away.

"I have to go, I'll text you later Adam, I can walk home don't worry about me"

As fast as a click of the right mouse button I was out of there.

I was running away while my make up was smudging, tears, tears, and more tears.

I got away from Emma once and I was not gonna f**k with her bs any more.

You'd think that it's all over.

By the time you dodge a bullet no one ever expects it to come flying back to get you again. Life works like this some times. Life is a
never ending series of missed opportunities. Mitch is just one of them.
