(Mitch's POV)
"Wait, what did I say?"
I look at Emma and she looks so pleased, I don't even know why I'm dating that bitch geez.
"I'm gonna go find her!"
"Wait Mitch," Emma grabs my arm pulling me back
I pull my arm out of her grasp and she looks devastated, like some one just took her peppermint mocha and dumped it on the floor.
"Not this time" I glare at her and she looks very surprised by my words
I start running after Kate even though she's not even in my sights.
She got away once, she almost died, in not taking any chances this time!

After about 15 minutes I'm getting very worried and slightly tired.
I am wandering around the park and then I remember...
When that jag face Ed broke up with her she never came back to the water fall, maybe she could of gone there, or the closet thing we have here...
Hagen lake, I haven't checked there!
It's not to far away maybe I can get there soon.
Running, yelling, calling, and more running.
After about 6 more minutes I make it there.
Where could she be here?
Looking around I spot a girl with purple hair sitting on the bank sobbing, there is not many girls with purple hair 'round here. Especially this sad.
Yes! Got her.
I run over to her about to collapse out of energy.
"K- ate- I- found you" I sit down next to her and she looks away not saying any thing.
"I, she wipes away a tear and grabs a tissue that I hand her.
"I don't want to talk to you but thanks"
"Kate," I repeat after catching my breath a little.
"what happened back there, I want to help any fix my mistake but I can't if you won't talk to me, I'm your friend, I'm more than a friend....."
She looks at me and then looks back at the ground.
"I, i wanna tell you but I can't. That fudger" she replies but gets louder at the end.
"Did she say something to you?"
Kate clinches her fist and her breath increases.
"Why are you even dating her?!?!?" She slightly screams
"YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID TO US AND THE TRUTH US SHE NEVER CHANGED" she screams as a small tear exits her eye. Though she wipes it away quickly.
"Because your my heart break girl, and she's my distraction."
She sniffles "what?"
"I, I didn't think that it would turn out like this. But I still like you Kate and I want to get to know you."
She begins to smile.
"I really don't like her she was a distraction from you because I knew in my heart that after what may have happened a while back that you wouldn't feel the same about me"
"Apparently you need to re-think your opinion." She smiles "after my shift tomorrow wanna hang out? No Emma, No Adam, just you and me....together"
"Yeah I'd like that"
We both stand up and my phone starts vibrating once I pick it back up.
I check my messages.
4 missed calls from - "Boo Bear, yeah right"
17 missed texts from - "Boo Bear, yeah right"
Wow, over obsessive girl friend much?
I quickly text Emma
M: I don't want to speak to you.
E: Why?!?! What did she tell u?!?!
M: I think we should keep our distance for a while, because I want to figure when my life will be going and I want a clear path.
E: ARE YOU SERIOUS BABE?!?!?
M: Yeah, and don't call me babe
I click block before she can respond and give a sigh of relief as Kate and I walk back to the house together.
"What was that 'bout biggums?" Kate asks using Jerome and I's nick name
"Just broke up with Emma, nothing big" I smile waiting for her reaction
"Oh o......WAIT YOU DID WHAT?!?" She stopped in her tracks and screamed
"Yeah I know that people can change and she had her chance but she didn't appreciate it and she doesn't deserve it."
"Oh well thank you for doing that for me"
"Anything for my heart break girl" I say as we continuing on.
