Chapter 6: You thought she was gone...

(Mitch's POV 😱)

I don't know what was wrong with her.

I didn't do anything did I?

Wait....Have fun on your date?

OH!

I run down the hall and head to Jerome's room.

"BIGGUMS, BIGGUMS, BIGGUMS, WAKE UP!"

He turns over "whatttt Mitch it's like 3 in the morning"

"I THINK KATE...." I pause because Kate lives next door I don't want her to hear.

"I think Kate still likes me!" I say a little quieter this time.

He runs hands over his eyes but when I finish my sentence he freezes and sits up.

"What how?"

"I think she found out about my girl friend, she said she hopes I have fun on my date" I stand up and run my hands through my hair.

"What am I gonna do? I love my girl friend but I started dating her because I knew Kate didn't like me and I needed a distraction"

"Well apparently you didn't *know*" he says putting up air quotations with his words.

I pace around the room then opened the blinds to see if I could see Kate but the lights turned off and I couldn't see her.

I turn to Jerome who was just staring at me.

"What do I do?"

He looked around then back to me "it's 3 am do you expect me to give good advice? Lets figure this out tommorow"

I agree and go back to my room. What am I gonna do? I like my girl friend but, what if I still love Kate?

(Kate's POV)

I am standing in a white dress looking over as I am leaning on the railing. I hear foot steps and I turn around.

I see a tall figure walking towards me.

I look to him as he walks closer.

He finally gets close enough so that I can see who it is.

And of course it's Mitch who else would it be Luke Hemmings, no!

"Say you'll remember me?" I say as I look into his eyes

"Oh of course" he smiles and grabs my hand. "standing in a white dress, staring at the sunset"

I smile and look down.

He lifts my face to meet his. "Kate, I still love you"

It feels like I could just die right here and be happy.

We lean closer until we almost kiss.

Then I feel an arm wrap around my neck and drag me back.

I open my eyes and look to see who it is.

Emma, or also known as Mitch's girlfriend.

She yells and screams at me saying Mitch will never love me while Mitch just stares then right when she was about to punch me...

All goes black.

"AHHHHHHH" I jolt up and look around.

I see my desk, my drawers, and my window.

Was it really all a dream?

So he's still, and I'm only, UGH!

I get out of bed and check the time.

6:00..I only got three hours of sleep.

Well today's always a new day, but Mitch is still going on that date.

Maybe if I.....I know what I need to do.

"Okay I'll see you then, okay thanks again, bye"

I hang up and go get ready.

After a quick shower I put on a sweat shirt, jeans and some boots.

I do my make up, not a ton but a little, then I brush my teeth and just put on my glasses I don't want to wear any contacts today.

I walk down stairs and grab my bag and my phone.

I grab the handle and close the door quietly hoping not to wake any one up.

I wait outside sitting on the steps for a few minutes then Mitch comes out of his house and he headed toward me.

He waves and I slightly wave back.

He jogs over and takes a seat beside me.

"Hey, what are you doing?" he says putting his arm around my shoulder.

I clear my throat and scoot away.

"Just waiting" I smile

"Oh okay, for what?"

"Just a friend"

He nods and looks around for something to talk about then turns back and just looks forward.

I decide to just start a conversation.

"So when did you meet Emma again?"

"Again?" He looks confused as he stares at me

"Are you serious?!?"

He looks slightly confused yet very worried.

"What?"

"We went to high school with her! The complete and total b***h that ruined my life!"

He looks to the ground then hides his head in his hands.

"Kate, I didn't know I forgot, I thought I knew her from some where but...."

"But what?"

"I just"

"HOW COULD YOU ACTULLY FORGET HER?!?!"

Just then a familiar car pulls up and the window rolls down.

"Hey Kate you ready to go out?"

Adam says.....

I smile and stand up, Mitch looks at me then to Adam.

"Oh yeah he's my boyfriend, gotta go talk to you later Mitch"

I walk to the car door and open it.

After waving bye to Mitch I step in the car and we drive off.

"Thanks for coming Adam"

"Any thing for my best friend"

"You think he bought it? Do you think he thinks we're dating?"

"I don't know but we'll find out"

A/N I wanted to update today because I go back to school tomorrow from break and I wanted to get something else out. Now Adam is back in the story. He was in story 1 if you didn't know. If your confused Adam really is not dating Kate they just faked it. Okay so see you angels in the next chapter.
