Chapter 2: New begginnings

~This was during the graduation ceremony~

(Kate's POV)

Today was it! The day that I start a new beginning. I have a job as a photographer and also have a YouTube account.

I never took my old account done from high school, I just haven't put any V-logs or face cam videos up since then so they can just hear my voice.

I am sitting with Kimberly, Allie, and Kynley who all went to college with me to take art and editing courses.

Kimberly is the only one who has changed since high school but they are all still beautiful!

She has wavy brown hair with dark pink and light pink tips. We got our hair dyed on the same day.

We take our seats at the ceremony as I go up on stage and give the speech about how this is a step into adult hood and blah blah blah.

It was not really exciting I just wanted food. So I was like in the middle of the ceremony to get my diploma because my last name is May.

"FINALLY! That took forever now let's get some foooooodddddd!"

I fake cry to all my friends as we begin heading to the diner across the street.

We walk in and sit down I order my food while we just talk.

I look around the diner seeing if I see any one else from our school.

Then I see some one I was hoping I didn't have to worry about or at least not plan to run into now.

Mitch.

My smile fades and I see him glance my way. I turn away feeling nervous. Did he remember me? I have changed a lot.

So I move half way across the world to go to college and then he magically poofs into the same restaurant as me.

Didn't we meet in Starbucks, I guess we just like the same restaurants?

Last words he said to me were "Don't forget what we had, and mostly don't forget me."

I never did.

Yeah I might of had a couple boy friends in college but they were all either Mr. I'm not ready for a relationship or Mr. I want to learn not be in a serious relationship with you.

But it is hard to forget some one you loved so much you would give up your life for them.

I don't look back the whole meal but I can feel his eyes and I believe Jerome's eyes watching me creepily. I think Jerome remembers me but how can Mitch not?

I go pay for the food while the girls go back to the dorm to get the rest of the stuff ready for the move to the apartment in a fancy neighborhood.

Mitch walks up beside me and we hand the lady our money and the same time.

- After the introduction that happened in the first chapter-

"Kate? Oh well Hello Again. You have changed so much" He says looking me up and down.

"You, haven't, I say to him, well isn't a coincidence that I moved halfway across the world from L.A and we meet here wow small world seems like"
"Yeah" he says still astounded by my appearance.

Jerome comes up behind him and stares at me for a second not really looking surprised.

"Oh hey Kate, how was college I'm guessing you went there?" Jerome says pointing at the college across the street. Not really making a big deal out of it.

"Great I have a job as a photographer for photo shoots. How has YouTube been for you?"

Jerome was about to answer but Mitch put his hand over his mouth and talks for him "Good, Jerome and I just moved here and we have a apartment in a cute little neighborhood" He winks at me, okayyyyy then?

Allie bursts in door of the diner breathing heavily "K-Kate, whoooo hold on let me take a break I really need to do more sports," After a long breath she continues "the girls need your help with putting the furniture in the car for the move"

"I'll be there in a second" I smile and she takes another breath and heads back to the girls dorms.

Mitch whips his head back and asks "where is your house"

"Just a neighborhood nothing over the top, I have to go help them see you soon"

I wave bye to them and run to keep up with my roommates.

It won't take long because I play lots of sports and I'm pretty fast. (Also because it is only across the street)
Okay so let's break this down...

1. I'm moving in with my friends from college and might have the best time of my life,

2. I am getting a job I absolutely love to do,

3. I just met Mitch again when the last time I saw him was 5 years ago,

And 4. I may or may not be living in the same neighborhood as him.

Oops?

Let's see if I don't run into trouble with him around...

A/N I know I just updated yesterday but I am so excited for this story! Don't judge me!

So Kate saw Mitch and they are not really sure their feelings toward each other but Mitch is impressed so let's see where this takes us...
