~ PROLOGUE 10 ~

HI BABY GIRL I say tears spilling out of the corner of my eyes looking at the screaming baby that is being laid on my chest, and I look up at my mum and Jane, who both have tears in their eyes, my mum kisses my forehead
"Well done Tori," she says and Jane squeezes my hand, I then look to my other side where Scarlett is bawling her eyes out her hand on the baby's back, and it is surreal
"She's absolutely perfect T," she says and I look down at my baby
2 hours later and I am wheeled into my recovery room, Scarlett is the on the chair beside my bed and she's snoring, my 16-hour labor tired her out more than me I guess, my mum got called into an emergency surgery, which I understand and she promised to be back later, and Jane is at the cafeteria getting something for us to eat.
I'm sitting upright holding the baby in front of me staring at her tiny face and she looks so much like Jackson, it makes my heart hurt. I smile and coo at her, she is the one thing that I needed in the lowest point of my life. I bring her close to my face and I kiss her nose.
"Welcome to the world Violet Jane Shepherd-Bell"
