A loud ring wakes me up and my eyes shoot open. I go to find the source of the sound but I find that I am wrapped in the arms of Jax.

I peel his arms off of me embarrassed and I sit up in the bed looking for the source of sound and it's my phone, and I see Scarlett is calling.

"Hey Scar," I say answering the phone, rubbing my eyes

"Hey are you okay?" she asks

"Yes, I'm fine," I say and Jax moves from beside me

"Who is it, what's wrong" he mumbles

"IS THAT SHEP?" she whisper screams

"Nothing Jax," I say cupping the microphone of my phone and he mutters an okay

"Yes, but be quiet," I say to her

"Oh my god, why?" she says

"I will tell you later, okay" I reply and I can hear her nodding on the phone

"Is everything okay, Is there something wrong with Violet?" I then ask panicked as she has called me out of nowhere

"Yes she is fine, but I wanted to remind you she has a doctors appointment today," she says

"Oh shoot" I reply

"Yep, 9am"

"Okay, thank you," I say

"We need to talk when you get home," Scarlett says

"Of course Scarlett" I reply

"I can meet you there with a change of clothes" she ads

"Yes please," I say

"Perfect, I will see you there" I add

I roll out of the bed and into the attached ensuite. I splash some cold water on my face and I use a towel to dry it, when I pull the towel off of my face I laugh, it is a picture of Jax and I.

Jane goes crazy with when she has the opportunity to personalise things. I look in the drawer hoping to find a spare hair comb and a toothbrush, and I find all of my old stuff. I take out my comb and run it through my hair before I pull it into a high ponytail, and I brush my teeth.

When I walk out of the bathroom Jax is nowhere to be seen, but the bed is made messily and I chuckle, typical Jackson Shepherd. I start to remake the bed and he comes in midway, and I turn to look at him

"Um Good Morning," he says clearing his throat

"Morning" I reply and I take the cup of coffee from him. "Violet has a doctors appointment today- I forgot," I say to him and he nods'

"Can I come?" he asks

"Yes- if you want to" I reply

"Of course, I want to," he says

"We need to leave now" I add and he nods again

"I'll get changed," he says, and I walk out of the room. It is his beach house, so I guess he has some clothes floating around, I think I would too. I walk down the stairs and I get ready to leave and I notice that only my car is in the driveway, which is odd because Jax got her last night.

"I was drinking," he says "I took an uber," Jax says answering my questions, sneaking up against me

"That's fine" I reply "We can go in my car- we need to get used to being together all of the time," I say and he nods

"Keys?" he says and I hand him my keys, and we head to my car, when he finally gets situated he puts his phone in the cup holder and I notice a bunch of missed calls from Ellie and I gulp. I almost forgot about her.

I am seriously scared of how she is going to react. We drive in silence but pull into the drive-through to get another coffee and something to each. After we grab some food, I turn the music up and he puts the windows down- we must look like fools screaming and singing.

When we pull into Violet's doctor's office, I see Scarlett, Violet and Noah in a car I do not recognise, which I guess is Noah's. I look at Jax and he seems a bit worried

"Are you all right?" I ask her

"Yes..." he says

"Hey, what's going on?" I say to him and he turns to me

"To be honest, I am a bit nervous"

"Why?" I ask him

"This is my first time with her," he says

"You've held her before" I reply

"Yeah, but I didn't know I was her dad"

"You will be fine," I say and we get out of the car, whilst I thank Noah and Scarlett, I let Jax take her and she snuggles into him. I transfer her car seat into my car and I can feel Scarlett's eyes on me. I take the change of clothes.

"After" I mouth to her and she puts a thumbs up and drives away, we walk into the doctor's office, and we give her name and are told to sit. Whilst they sit I go and get changed. We get called in by her doctor and she is thrilled to learn that Jax is aware of her identity.

But today Violet is booked in for a physical and some vaccines. Whilst the doctor grabs what she needs I undress her and hand her to Jax, he admires her and I smile. We wait for the doctor to head back in and I smile at the two of them. When she walks back in, I start to feel a little nervous, since she reacted so poorly last time.

"There may be some side effects, but other than that she should be fine," her doctor says to me, snapping me out of my thoughts and I nod.

The doctor administers her vaccinations and Violet screams and I let Jax lift her up to calm down, and after a while, her sobs turn into whimpers. I get the rest of the info from her doctor whilst Jax dresses her and brings her out.

"Is that all?" I say and she nods

"Perfect, Thank you," I say and we walk to the car.
