~ PROLOGUE 09~

I'M LAYING ON THE COUCH with my feet on the on the coffee table and I'm balancing a bowl of popcorn on my bump, whilst my family is flicking through a movie.
Scarlett is beside me and is throwing the popcorn up in the air trying to catch it in her mouth, but is failing horribly. My mum is blowing on her steaming mug, whilst my dad and brothers fight on what they want to watch.
Once we finally decided just to watch whatever is on the the tv, and the next advertisment comes on I look up and open my mouth
"I've decided on a name" I say and everyone turns to me
"Really" mum says, I've been going back and forth for ages on what I want to call her
"Yep, I know"
"It better be a good name, for a respectable lady" Finn says
"Oh shut up Finn, you named our dog puppy" Alex says and punches him in the shoulder
"I'm sorry, I was 5, besides uncle Finn can't be chasing off the boys forever" he says
"You mean all of us"
"No-"
"Alright boys, lets hear the name Tori" my mum says
"Okay, so, ah now I'm nervous"
"I'm sure we'll love it" my dad says
"Come on tell meee" Scarlett says
"Alright, I wanted to pick a name that was respectable, but fun, but also pretty, one that would represent a strong woman-"
"Yes, yes tell us!"
"Jeez Scar" I say laughing
"This is no joke" she replies
"...Her name is Violet Jane Shepherd-Bell" I say "Violet was Jax's favourite girls name since it was my favourite flower, and Jane is after his mother, who is wonderful" I add and my cheeks redden
"It's beautiful" my mum says
"I love it" Scarlett replies
"Little baby Violet" Grayson says "She's got a pretty name, and of course a pretty face- she's going to be a heartbreaker"
"She sure is"
