Mom: Wait, you're Sicherheit and you're GSG9. What did I do?
Versuchen: Can we come in?
Mom: Y/N?
Versuchen: That's me.
After hugging my mom, we entered the home and took a seat.
Monika: I'm Monika "IQ" Weiss.
Mom: I'm Elise L/N. Nice to meet you.
Monika removed her headgear when I removed mine and my mother took a seat across from us.
Mom: I assume I'm not in any trouble?
Versuchen: Nope, I'm just visiting.
Mom: Where's the rest of Sicherheit?
Versuchen: You don't actually know this, all of Sicherheit was recruited to Team Rainbow Six.
Mom: No way.
Versuchen: And Monika is a teammate of mine... Also my girlfriend.
My mom smiled and Monika just nodded while scooting over to me so I set my hand on her thigh. Whispering in my ear, Monika made sure my mom couldn't hear.
Monika: Getting touchy?
Versuchen: I'm sorry.
Monika: No, keep it there.
Versuchen: Ok, I'm just trying to be nice.
Monika: And you will be if you keep it there.
Monika moved her head back away from my ear and set it on my shoulder.
Mom: How long have you been together?
Versuchen: Today.
Monika: But we've known each other for quite some time.
Mom: Would either of you like a drink?
Versuchen: I'll take a water.
Monika: Same here.
Versuchen: Mom, why didn't you answer the door in German?
Mom: Good question. I have no clue.
(That moment the writer realizes his mistake, but doesn't want to fix it so he incorporates that into the story.)
Versuchen: A lot of people would've thought you were crazy.
Mom: People in this neighborhood already think I'm crazy.
Versuchen: Where's dad? Or Jessica?
Mom: Your father is at work and Jessica is studying for her finals at the library.
Versuchen: Is she with anyone?
Mom: A few friends, why?
Versuchen: I'm going to surprise her.
I grabbed my headgear and Monika followed behind me as we walked to the library nearby. We entered as quietly as possible and spotted Jessica at a table with two other girls whom all looked very concentrated on studying.
Jessica: Was zum Teufel ist die Antwort? Warum ist das so verwirrend? (What the fuck is the answer? Why is this so confusing?)
Versuchen: Was ist verwirrend? (What's confusing?)
Jessica jumped a little and turned around before launching her chair back and hugging me.
Jessica: Heilige Scheiße, du hast mich erschreckt. (Holy shit, you scared me.)
Versuchen: Language.
Jessica: Oh, sorry, Mister I've Never Said Fuck In My Life.
Versuchen: You're right, I don't give a shit.
