Okay, no point dillydallying, let's just get right into it!
When I originally came up with the ideas and storyline for When They Were Gone, this was where the story ended. Pea as 'the girl' disappeared everything. The points were conveyed. 'The Girl's' selfishness was displayed in whole. And there was the typical dystopian bad ending.
But then something changed.
Whilst writing this story, the story itself developed immensely... And then a new ending presented itself.
So, now that we've come to the epilogue, I give you the choice:
1. You can stop here with this ending if you wish to leave with this feeling inside you.
OR
2. You can continue on to see what happens. Take the plunge. See the truth. Maybe change the feeling you're feeling right now... or maybe deepen it.
