Jay, Zane, and Cole arrive at the Fire Temple to look for Kai, Aria, and Wu.
"Aria! Kai! Sensei!" Cole calls out
Zane looks around "The Sword of Fire was here, as well our friends, but I only sense loss. We are too late. The Elemental Weapons have left this realm and are now in the Underworld. The end is drawing near"
"Ugh... great. The one place no mortal can cross over" Cole sighs
"We might not be able to cross over..." The temple door opens as Kai, Nya and the Fire Dragon exit "... but a dragon can"
Cole screams and hides behind one of the pillars due to his fear of dragons
"Our father used to tell us stories about the dragons, that they were mystical creatures that belong to both worlds and buried between them" Nya says
Cole chuckles in fear "Are you insane?!"
"yes my dear cousin" Aria says walking out in front of the dragon and petting it
"What happened to your fear of dragons?" Zane questions
"Don't worry about that" Aria tells him
"So how did you do it?" Cole questions "you know, tame the dragon"
"It was all Aria" Kai says turning to her "who knew she spoke dragon"
"spoke dragon?" Cole questioned
"yes..." Aria looks away then back at them "all i had to do was explain to him that we were trying to protect the Sword of Fire"
"Yeah he actually became quite a softie" Kai says and the dragon nuzzles into him, kai laughs "Knock it off"
Nya giggles
Jay tries to talk to Nya "Doyoulikeblue?" he coughs, unable to make out the words
Zane steps in "He cannot talk, but he wants to know if you like blue"
"It's my favorite color" Nya replies
"Yes" Jay cheers inaudible
"Why can't jay talk?" Aria asks
"I accidently hit him in the throat" Cole admits
"huh.." Aria looks at Jay then back at her cousin "you know this might be a good thing"
Kai shakes his head then looks at his sister "Nya..."
"This is goodbye, isn't it?" Nya asks and Kai nods his head "Come back to me in one piece, okay? I don't wanna have to run the store on my own"
"I promise I won't be gone for long" Kai reassures her
"I'll keep a candle lit outside our shop until you return" Nya tells him
Jay and Zane hop on the Fire Dragon.
"You guys go on ahead. There's not enough room for all of us on that... thing" the Fire Dragon looks at Cole.
Aria smirks "You're right, cuz.. but I got a way to fix that"
The next day, each Ninja is riding their respective elemental dragon as Cole awkwardly rides the Earth Dragon while Aria is riding on the fire dragon with Kai.
Cole is in fear "E-easy... not so fast..."
"Whoa! This is awesome!" Jay cheers, the words barely auditable
"Yes. This is quite fun" Zane agrees
"So how do the dragons cross over to the Underworld?" Cole questions
