Your mind was hurling, trying to remember where you had heard that name. You concluded that it was someone's name from the people you had met in your internship.

"Who?" You asked.

He furrowed his brows and let his fingers slap his forehead.

"I'll ...er, let me send a sorry text to Kook first." He said and picked up his phone.

You did a little brain storming about the name you heard Taehyung speak.

Taehyung looked back to you, his eyes a bit hesitant now, unlike the disappointed look when he was talking about Jungkook.

You felt that he was taking very long time to speak a word.

His face was resting against the bedside, his bare neck and chest moving in slow motions, smoothly contrasting to the tension in the situation. He stared blankly at the ceiling just like you stared at him in an uneasy void of desperation.

His hands were resting in his lap, over the duvets, carefully locked with eachother.

You were patiently waiting, in silence for him to speak something about himself.

You were hoping for him to finally break out of his hard shell and let you see his scars or maybe the bruises that still hurt him.

Minutes passed, he didn't say anything, both of you still.

"It's Okay, if you're not ready to open up, er, I think I'll sleep now, it's late." You weakly said, barely above a whisper as you pushed your back to touch the bed, laying back.

He finally looked at you and his expression was one that resonated with unspoken and unheard affliction.

"Wait, I'm sorry for zoning out like this ...um, I was thinking of right way to put it." He said, rubbing your arm, urging you to get up and be attentive again.

"Right so.. who's Dong Han?" You asked monotonously, your mind too busy thinking to put a tone in your voice.

"DoHan- oh, right Dong Han was my childhood friend....we went to same school." He stopped abruptly as if dubious to speak further.

He looked into your eyes in the pause but didn't understand why he was waiting for you to call it off, once again.

"I already said Oppa, if you're uncomfortable, I don't want to force anything out of you, I understand that you're a bit...." You trailed off, unable to find the right word.

Something clicked to him and he decided that he wouldn't hide anymore, he had to say it someday, somehow, no truth lies hidden forver.

He knew that it'd be more of a fiasco if you'd find out on your own or by someone else.

He plainly didn't want that to happen, now that he knew what he was doing, now that he had filed proofs against Chul, he hoped that things would be better soon. He knew that there's no sweet start with secrets beneath, he had understood what Jungkook meant when he wanted him to be transparent with you.

At the end of the day, he couldn't risk loosing you.

But also, he had to be careful, he couldn't take a big step unless he had the bad guys under his boots.

"It's not that y/n, I'm just afraid of how you'd react, I don't want you to think in any different way when I tell you that-" he sucked on a breathe.

"Hm? Please say it at once, I cannot cure the pain until I know where it's hurting and I want to share all of the pain with you, all of yours." You placed your hand on his, caressing them gently. "I can't let you be bruising when I'm here, enjoying your cock in me all the time."
