More than two years ago, I wrote this story down quickly. It was in the time when I allowed myself the fantasy of one day turning stories into movies. Legends was by far the favorite one I had ever created.

But in the meantime, I wrote books. Who knows, maybe that would be my way in to the movie world. So as I was peacefully writing books, covid-19 hit the world, draining me of all my fantasy, creativity and inspiration. It was difficult to write stories and come up with good scenes. I figured that I needed a story that was already made, but not yet written.

It made me think of the long list of stories that I have. The rough story line is written down, but they beg to become a book. I picked my favorite story. It was a story that I loved when coming up with it. And ever time I thought of it, or whenever I heard the world 'legend' or the song 'Legends' by Kelsea Ballerini, I would be transported back to the story. It would stay in mind for so long that I would have to push it back if I wanted to continue a different story.

And so, during that depressing time of a world in lockdown, I wrote the amazing story that never left my mind. I was eager to publish it, but wanted to publish when I was convinced it was as perfect as it ever could be.

And for achieving that perfection, I have to thank two very important people.

@solorzanowriter, thank you so much for your many corrections in my story. Some mistakes I made were stupid, of others I didn't know they were a mistake. But you corrected them all, and without you, my story would be laughable for English speakers. That's why you deserve my biggest thank you!

@Charlotte_140, my most enthusiastic supporter. You were ready with compliments that warmed my heart and made me grin like an idiot. Thanks to you I became prouder of my story than I ever could be. And your insights in the difference between American, British and Australian made me an even bigger lover of the English language.

And of course, thank you, my reader. Your support and big amount of people made me love the story even more.

Thank you!
