Suddenly, the monitor began to slow down and her heart flat lined, causing a slight panic to the doctors and nurses in the room, recovery girl included. They couldn't let her die. Especially not her, because she was a UA student and the hospital would never hear the end of it if one of the prestigious hero school's students died on their watch. For Recovery Girl, it was both because she was one of UA students, but also simply because she cared for the young girl lying on the operating table.

One of the masked doctors grabbed a set of defibrillators, calling out, "Ready, Go!" before pressing the pads onto the girl's front. "Again!" He yelled, when her heartbeat didn't reset. The second time however, Y/N's heart was back up and running, much to the relief of everyone in the room.

'As long as we can keep her alive..' Recovery Girl sighed and looked at Y/N sadly.

Suddenly, the girl's body glowed a faint green, however bright enough that it caught the attention of everyone in the room. The gnash on her back slowly but surely stitched itself up, shocking the hospital staff.

"Don't worry.. that's just her quirk."

'She did lose a tremendous amount of blood though, and her healing won't be as strong as it normally is, considering her state.' Recovery Girl thought you herself as the rest of the room watched in awe.

"We'll still have to keep an eye out for her though.. the blood loss may still be a problem. According to some of the students and All Might, she took quite the blow to the head. If she doesn't wake up within a few hours, it's either going to be due to her quirk being overused, or a coma."

She leaves the room, leaving the staff to watch over Y/N as Recovery Girl makes her way outside only to be greeted by the drowsy faces of All Might, Midnight and Present Mic.

They'd been patiently(mostly) waiting outside for the duration of the 6 hour procedure to stop the bleeding. (I'm not a doctor, and this is a fictional book).

"She's in a stable position.. for now." Recovery Girl tells the small group. "However.. we can't say for sure when, or even if she'll even wake up."

Eyes widened and the heroes hearts clenched. "Y/N overused her quirk, much more than usual. On top of that, she lost a lot of blood and may have suffered some brain injury as well. It seems her subconscious is healing her slowly, but that means she's using her quirk yet again after already being completely deprived of energy. I can't use my quirk to replenish the blood she lost, since she'll die."

The situation was looking grim, to say the least. Y/N wasn't dead, so that was as good of news as anything. But never waking up again? The four adults could only wonder how Aizawa would react once he found out.

First Day Back

Right after the incident, Class 1A had immediately asked detective Tsukauchi how their teachers and fellow classmates were doing. 'Aizawa suffered massive injuries and may end up having vision problems. Thirteen is stable, but still out of commission. The young girl named Y/N.. she's been rushed to the emergency room and I believe is now undergoing surgery.'

They had gasped, at the time. Now in front of the door was a familiar black headed mess of hair, his face covered in bandages.

"Settle down, everyone."

"Mr. Aizawa?! Shouldn't you be resting?"

"My well being is irrelevant. Now-"

"Mr. Aizawa! How is Y/N doing?" Uraraka asked, nervous.

The teacher's eyes flashed with pain, if only for a second as he took in a sharp breath. "Y/N is in stable condition." He repeated the same words Recovery Girl had told him earlier, purposefully leaving out the fact that they weren't sure if she' wake up again.
