(Third Person)

It was the second day, and Y/N was excited. Not that anyone else knew yet, but they were finally going to be trying on their hero costumes for the first time.

For the first half of the day they did normal school stuff like mathematics, classic Japanese and all that stuff. For lunch, she said hi to Shinso when passing by his table, smiling when she noticed he'd seemingly made some friends. (A/N, yeah you're in the Deku-squad. If Bakugou is weird in this story, it's probably cause I'm doing anything and everything I can to decrease swearing.)

She sat with Iida, Uraraka and Midoriya, whom she decided to call Deku in hopes he could accept the name and be happy about it, as opposed to getting put down whenever it was heard. Of course as always, food was served by Lunch Rush whom she said hi to as she passed by.

Y/N and her newfound friends spent the time chatting about some random things like life at home, although ended up spending most of that time explaining the many, many cats her dad kept at home.

The hero course was like any other high school courses in the morning, but the afternoon was when things began to get.. interesting.

"I am.. coming through the door like a normal person!!" All Might says, making you snicker slightly. The rest of the class seemed to have been gawking over him, he was the No. 1 hero after all.

"Foundational hero studies! For this class, we'll be building up your hero foundation through various trials!" He exclaims, before pulling out a card that said, 'BATTLE.'

"Let's jump right into it.. Battle trials!! And of course, we've prepared the gear we had you send in requests for!" He pressed a button, revealing 20 cases with numbers printed on them.

Y/N was giddy with excitement, unconsciously glowing a faint yellow, attracting the attention of a few of her classmates.

'One step closer to becoming a real hero,' she thought, ecstatic.

"Now go change into your costumes and meet me at grounds B!"

In The Changing Room

(First Person)

I was excited, yes, but my smile dropped slightly when I opened up the case, taking my costume out.

'Oh my goodness..'

(Flashback)

"Aww come one Y/N! Just let your beloved Midnight help you with your costume just a little bit~?"

I love Midnight, but my Dad has specifically told her no. And no offence,  but he can be one of the scariest people ever sometimes. I finish up the sketch, not bothering to add details as I wave her off.

"No~ you know what dad said.."

"Hmph. Fine. I suppose I can't do anything for now anyway. Do you want me to tuck you in?" She asks, looking innocent.

"Mm.. fine, just this once though, since I haven't seen you in forever. Are you gonna use your quirk?" I question as she nods.

"Fineeeeee.. don't touch my stuff though."

"Sure sure, just go to sleep now hun.." she soothes, because lulling my to sleep and carrying me to bed. Unbeknownst to be, she decided to make some.. adaptations to me hero suit that evening.

(Flashback End)

'Oh. My. Goodness. MIDNIGHT WHAT DID YOU DO?!' I screamed internally, while wondering who was going to get to her first this time. You see.. my strangely large family of people who aren't actually related to me could be quite.. overprotective at times. Dad was always the worst, but if anyone else saw me with this on they'd probably go after her.

I genuinely couldn't decide whom I felt more bad for, her or myself. 'This is so embarrassing', I think, cheeks flushing.

She'd changed the original design of my suit, was supposed to be slightly baggy to give my freedom to move while also fire proof, into a f/c skin tight body suit with a skirt drooping across the sides of my waist. The boots were pretty elegant too, completely blending in with the rest of the costume. Sure, this would probably make is easier to maneuver through the air, but still! There was an open back still, for my wings, but it seemed she decided to add a few more.. visible patches of skin here and there, like my shoulders. There was a communication circlet to top it off. I groaned.

On the case was a sticky note that read, 'Enjoy! ;)'

'She really added a wink?' I wasn't one to get ticked off super easily. And to be honest, I wasn't really 'mad' as much as completely flushed at the thought of having to wear such revealing clothes in front of my classmates. I guess overall it wasn't that bad but.. -///-

I walk out with Uraraka, who compliments my new attire. "Wow Y/N-chan, your costume looks super cool! I probably should've specified details more in my plan.. mine is so poofy haha."

"Aha well~ mine was supposed to be completely different but someone changed it last minute," I tell her, cheeks flushing.

"Ah but you look really nice!"

"Thank you Uraraka~ so do you though!"

As me make our way to the rest of the group, I step up to where Uncle Toshi was. "Midnight." I whisper to him, receiving a curt nod before turning away. He too looked like he felt bad for her.. kind of. I see Deku jog over to us, noticing he was the last one here.

The resemblance between his costume and Uncle Toshi's was.. painfully obvious. 'I guess he was a big fanboy growing up too, haha.'

"The hero course is the greatest!" I heard a tiny purple guy, who was giving Deku a thumbs-up. Something about him made me uncomfortable, which I just determined to be the fact he seemed to be staring and Uraraka.. and me. I shuddered.

"And don't forget!" I hear Toshi boom, "You're all officially.. heroes in training! Let's see what you're made of. It's time for the battle trial!!!"

"This is going to be fun.." I squeal, eyes shining.

Or at least, I had hoped so.
