Chapter 18

Rome
Quinn's pov

We were on the bus on the way to the hotel that we're staying at. We arrived at the hotel. It was really big. Mr. Reilly came over and gave us our roommates and keys. Blair and I are in the same room. We got to the room. I opened the door and saw Ally inside.
Ally: hey roomies
Blair: what?
Quinn: wait what?!
Ally: we're roommates silly
Quinn: oh god
I looked at Blair. She looked at me confused. We unpacked our bags. We are allowed to go anywhere in the hotel. There's a pool so Blair and I headed down. The got in the pool then the hot tube. There was also a sauna. It's so hot, why would you wanna sit in there?! The also that these hot rock beds that you can lay on. It was so relaxing. We got changed and just walked around the hotel. We got lost.
Blair: why is this place so big!?
Quinn: maybe we should use google maps
Blair: Quinn there not going to have google maps in a hotel
We finally found an elevator and headed down for dinner. We walked in and there was people from our school everywhere. There was no where to sit so we sat with my brother and Luke. I don't know where Wyatt was but that okay cause Blair doesn't really wanna see him. We order our food.
Quinn: guess who we're roommates with
Luke: who
Quinn: your sorta ex Ally
Luke: oh uhhh her
Quinn: she's so annoying
We finished our food. We had a curfew on 9:30 and we're up early tomorrow for a tour of the city at 7am. We headed back to the room and got ready for bed. Ally wasn't back yet. Thank god. There was one single bed and a double in the room so Blair and I are sharing while Ally is in the single. We put and AirPod in one ear each and watch some stuff on Netflix on my Mac book. Ally came back with her hair all messed up with her lip all swollen.
Ally: hey
Blair: hi
She took off all her makeup and got into bed. Jeez I never saw her without makeup before. She was on her phone and kept giggling.
Blair: can you shut the fuck up we're trying to watch something
Ally: sorry that I have a life and you don't
Blair: bitch
Ally: well you can go fuck yourself cause I have someone to do that for me
Quinn: ewwwww! did not need to know that
Ally: well Wyatt is good in bed I'm just saying
Quinn: Wyatt Jones?
Ally: yeah
Blair: looked at me about to cry. God I could kill Wyatt at this point. Oh my god that's why he wasn't at dinner. Ewwwww.

I heard my alarm went off. We got up and got ready for the tour. We went downstairs. The whole class was just standing in the lobby. The bus came and everyone got on. I was worried about Blair with the whole Ally thing last night. The bitch. So I did my own research. So I texted him.
Quinn: hey asshole
Wyatt: wtf?
Quinn: did u sleep with ally?
Wyatt: that non of ur business
Quinn: u did Ewwww
Wyatt: fuck off
Uhhh that guy I swear. I showed the texts to Blair and her eyes teared up. She told me about what happened on the plane.
Quinn: omg but if you like him why didn't you say yes
Blair: cause he "broke" my heart and we weren't even dating what happens if we do date?
Quinn: you have to take chances in life sometimes they can be mistakes and sometimes they can be the best thing you ever did
Blair: yeah
Quinn: do you like him?
Blair: yeah
Quinn: do you want to be with him?
Blair: yeah
Quinn: then go for it
She smiled at me knowing I'm right. We planned on what we were going to do.

The next morning we travelled around the city. It was really fun. The city is so beautiful.

A few days later

We headed back to the hotel to get changed and go back out again. They wanted us to get all dressed up. When we got to the room. What the hell is going on?! I wore this really pretty grey dress with a sparkly lace top half with the bottom half kinda like a mini ball gown dress. Blair wore this tight red dress with a slit down the leg. I have no idea why they wanted us to bring fancy clothes but I'm not mad. We did our hair and makeup when we heard a knock on the door. Blair opened it and this girl handed us masks that matched our dresses. What is going on!? We put the masks on, they covered our eyes. We headed downstairs. Everyone was dressed fancy with masks. Are we going to a ball or something?! These fancy buses came and we got in. I could barely recognise anyone with these masks.
Quinn: what is going on?
Blair: I have no idea
Quinn: dresses and masks like what!? Are we going to a ball or something!?
I got a text from Luke.
Luke: you look gorgeous
Quinn: you recognised me?
Luke: no but you look beautiful in everything
Quinn: awwww I'm wearing grey come find me when we get there love you x
Luke: love you x
I giggled. Blair was nervous cause she gonna tell Wyatt how she feels and hopefully it will work out. We arrived at this some sort of castle. We walked in and it literally a ball. Apparently it's an annual thing. People were dancing it was so cool. Blair went to find Wyatt. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw this guy
Guy: hey
Quinn: hi
Guy: really!?
Quinn: Luke
Luke: who else
I giggled.
Luke: you look beautiful.
Quinn: thank you
Luke: wanna dance malady?
Quinn: Indeed, are you sure no one will recognise us?
Luke: I couldn't even tell you who half of theses people are
He walked me to the ballroom floor and we danced.

Blair's pov

I searched the ball looking for Wyatt. It's so hard to tell anyone apart from these masks. I saw this guy so I went over.
Blair: hey
Wyatt: Blair?
Blair: Wyatt jeez I spent a long ass time trying to find you
Wyatt: why?
Blair: on the plane I- was scared cause that I was going to end up heartbroken but I want to give us a chance
Wyatt: really?
Blair: yeah but one thing
Wyatt: what?
Blair: did you actually sleep with Ally?
Wyatt: I was upset about what happened on the plane and-
Blair: it okay up you just can't go sleep with people when you're mad anymore
Wyatt: plus you were better
Blair: omg
Wyatt: want to dance?
Blair: sure
We walked to the dance floor and I saw Quinn and Luke dancing I think. Tonight was strange but good.
