Chapter 2

The project

1 week later.......
I woke up and went to the bathroom. I put my brown curly hair into a cute messy bun and put concealer,mascara, highlighter and lipgloss on and got dressed. I grab my bag and head down stairs. I grab an apple and go on my phone. I'm starting to worry Blair was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago. I texted her:
Quinn: where r u?
Blair: sry I can't make it this week I got a last minute invitation to the wedding so I won't be in school this week soz love ya
Quinn: have fun!
Shit I literally have no other friends so ima be by myself the whole week and I'm going to have to carpool with Carson. Great way to start a new week.

I walked upstairs and knocked on Carson's door.
Carson: come in
Quinn: hey so Blair is gone to a wedding for a week so can I take a ride with you?
Carson: sure we're going in Wyatt's car and there outside so u can head down
Quinn: okay thanks
I head down to Wyatt's car and sit in the back. Luke had to run to the bathroom. Carson came down and jumped in the front seat.
Luke: hey I was sitting there
Carson: well I'm here now
Luke rolls his eyes and sits beside me.

I grab the aux chord and plug it into my phone. I start playing Imagine by Ariana Grande. I started singing along to it when I noticed everyone looking at me weirdly.
Quinn: what are ya guys staring at me?
Wyatt: the song
Carson: oh my god I can't-
They all start laughing.
Quinn: oh my god guys you pervs they're lyrics that have no meaning to me
Carson: sure your not crying cause you're single
Quinn: shut up you asshole

We finally arrived at the school, jeez it felt like ages but Luke was very quite during the ride. That's weird usually he never stops talking. By myself I walked to class alone. I actually can't wait till Blair is back walking around the halls alone is really boring. I walked into the school bathroom cause I had to go even tho the bathrooms are disgusting. Julie I had so much fun last night with Carson. He's so good I heard Alison say as she put on 100 layers of lipgloss. I literally am about to get sick. I didn't really want to hear about my brothers sex life with Alison or at all. Meanwhile I'm still in the bathroom stall hiding. Then they just started talking about some random shit and left. I feel kinda traumatised. But I decided to just go to class which is history.

I arrive in class and sit in my chair. 5 minutes later the door banged open and in came Luke Jones. His hair all messy and his lips swollen. He walked to our desk and sat down.
Mr Reilly: Luke why were u late?
Luke: I was busy
Mr Reilly: with what
Luke: someone
Mr Reilly: detention after school on Friday
Luke huffs and starts fixing his hair.
Quinn: fuckboy move huh
Luke: what?
Quinn: you made a fuckboy move and got your self detention
Luke: whatever it was worth it
Quinn: you're disgusting
He rolls his eyes and looks at the whiteboard. A few minutes pass and mr Reilly mentioned a project I really hope it will be next week when Blair gets back.
Mr Reilly: so you guys are going to do a project due on this time next week so Monday your partner will be the ones beside you so yeah organised yourselfs.
I look over and see Luke with a smirk.
Luke: so yours or mine?
Quinn: what?
Luke: are we going to do it at yours or mine?
Quinn: oh umm yours
Luke: okay see you after school at mine
Quinn: fine

The last school bell rings so school is finally over I get to go home. Ohh wait shit I have to go to Luke's, uhhh wish me luck I guess.
I arrived at his door, I stood there thinking this is gonna be a bad idea but I'm just gonna go for it
*knock knock*
